Jeez. I though it would be less. Honestly, I doubt this will go to a trial with a jury because Chris' autism. Best thing for Chris is a plea deal.
Unless he's so deluded as to think he can represent himself successfully, he'll have a public defender, and the public defender will definitely aim for a plea deal. Given that Chris isn't a convicted felon before now he might get off with probation or a suspended sentence - depending what other charges come down the pipeline at least. And then, Chris being Chris and having no semblance of self control, he'd violate that within a year and then be locked up.

How many times has Chris been on probation? Another slap on the wrist for this type of crime would just send the wrong message. Best solution would have for Chris to agree to a plea deal: 3 years in a mental facility and possible registration as a sex offender. Even if this goes to a jury, the selection process by itself would be daunting: most than half of Ruckersville knows of Chris. You'd be hard pressed not to select someone who hasn't read the CWCki, this forum, or watched Geno's comprehensive series.

Lol. The local news won’t even say the word “incest” even though that’s the actual charge.

If Barb does have any of her mind left she’s going to pretend she doesn’t after this runs on the local news. Old people like Borb don’t give a shit about national news but they all watch the local news. Now all of the remaining old people that knew Barb are burning up the landlines with the hottest tea they’ve had in decades. Barb won’t even be able to show her face at the nursing home bingo night now.

Entertainment Weekly: YouTuber known as Chris Chan arrested on suspicion of incest in Virginia

Authorities said they received "information involving sex crimes against a family member" and arrested Christine Weston Chandler over the weekend.

A YouTuber known on the internet as Chris Chan — and the creator of the character Sonichu — was arrested on suspicion of incest.

A spokesperson for the Henrico County Sheriff's Office told PEOPLE in a statement that Christine Weston Chandler was being held at Henrico Regional Jail West Facility in Virginia on one count of incest and was transferred to Greene County custody on Monday.

In a press release, the Greene County Sheriff's Office confirmed that they "received information involving sex crimes against a family member" on Saturday, and an investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued. The Henrico Police Department located Chandler in Ruckersville, Virginia, where they arrested her.

Authorities said Chandler, 39, is currently being held without bond, and the investigation is ongoing "with additional charges pending."

Chandler did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

On Friday, Chandler, who is an artist and vlogger, tweeted to nearly 60,000 followers, "There is drama in the air today. Each and every one of you all are encouraged to withdraw from any and all dramas, gossip, rumors, and whatever else will, and already has, approached your way today."

She has more than 50,000 subscribers on YouTube.

In viral footage shared online claiming to show the moment Chandler was arrested over the weekend, Chandler tells the cameras that "everything is going to work out" as she appeared to be in handcuffs with officers around her. Chandler said the last few days had been "stressful."

The Sun: SICK CLAIMS Inside warped world of Chris Chan who thinks she’s a ‘goddess’ as comic creator arrested for ‘incest’ after house fire

CONTROVERSIAL comic book creator Chris Chan views herself as a "goddess" and has been involved in a string of controversies before being arrested over claims of "incest".

The 39-year-old YouTuber, whose full name is Christine Weston Chandler, is the founder of the Sonicho and Rosechu comic book series that takes place in the town she created, CWCville.

It is named after her initials and features the character Sonicho which appears to be a crossover between Pokémon and Sonic the Hedgehog.

The series’s main character is modeled on Chan standing her ground against witches, evil cops, and internet trolls.

Chan has used the series over the past two decades to hit back at people online who targeted her into releasing personal information by reportedly approaching her as a fake potential love interest.

“I am Mrs. Christine W. Chandler Sonichu, Goddess of the Nations of Cwcville, Comma, and the Commodore Consoles, and the Creator of Sonichu and Rosechu,” she says in her Twitter profile.

She also reportedly repeated the claim as she was arrested last weekend.

"I am compliant, I am good like this. I am Chris Chan Sonichu, your Goddess Blue Heart and I continue to stand strong and I maintain everything with my CWCville, Sonichu, and Rosechu and everybody," she shouted at internet show "The Ralph Retort" who was live streaming from the scene, KVIA reports.

'TARGETED BY TROLLS'

Chan became infamous in the 2000s after her Sonichi comic book caught the attention of the masses on 4chan and led to a wave of trolls targeting her.

She first uploaded her content in 2000 and has around 27,000 followers on Twitter.

The vlogger has over 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube page where she last posted five days ago.

Chan has been embroiled in several controversies over the years and went viral in 2007 when Encyclopedia Dramatica mocked her comics allegedly ridiculing women and being homophobic.

She also courted controversy after creating her own cartoon porn, as well as making a video in which she told trolls “it is war” as she pointed a gun at the screen. it is not clear if the gun was real.

In September 2011, Chan described herself as a "tomgirl" and said she was going through gender dysmorphia after years of homophobic remarks for which she apologized in a later video.

Five years later, she went on to change her name to Christine and came out as transgender.

According to reports, she legally changed her gender and also came out as bisexual, telling followers she was looking for love.

HOUSE FIRE RAISES ATTENTION

Chan faded into anonymity again until a house fire at her mother’s home in 2014 brought her story to the attention of another wave of online abuse.

She was again the target of trolling with fake profiles catfishing her and leaking personal details.

The 39-year-old blogger, who is autistic and receives disability from the state, is currently being held at Henrico County Regional Jail West in Virginia after being booked on Sunday, according to KVIA.

It was exclusively revealed by The Sun today that Chan has a previous criminal record, including a suspended jail sentence for Macing a GameStop worker.

A filing from Albemarle General District Court, seen by The Sun, shows she was charged with Class 1 Misdemeanour Assault in December 2014.

This was a lesser charge after she was initially booked for a Class 6 Felony for "dangerous gas unlawful release."

'MACED A GAMESTOP EMPLOYEE'

The controversial internet star, who was previously known as Christian, and the complaint was made by James R. Herring.

According to reports, the arrest was after she maced an employee at GameStop who had asked her to leave.

She was allegedly barred for life from the store following the altercation.

Chan was given a 180-day suspended jail sentence and ordered to pay $514 in court costs, according to court records.

Previously, in October 2011, Chandler and her mother were arrested after Barbara hit a local game store manager with her car, leading them to pay a fine and undergo community service and a year of probation.

As reported, Chan was booked at 8.23pm on Sunday in relation to incest, according to the Henrico County Sheriff's website.

Henrico County Sheriff Alisa Gregory told Newsweek: "Christine Weston Chandler is currently being held in our Jail West facility on one count of incest and awaiting arraignment in Greene County, Virginia."

Sheriff Gregory was unable to provide further details relating to the arrest, but added "the criminal charges are not for Henrico County, but Greene County."

If convicted on the latest incest charges, Chan could face 12 years in jail.

Daily Mail: YouTube trans star Chris Chan is arrested on INCEST charges after 'raping her 79-year-old dementia sufferer mother'

YouTube personality and the creator of a popular web comic series Chris Chan has been arrested on an incest charge involving her elderly mother after allegedly admitting to the crime in a leaked phone call.

Chan, a 39-year-old transgender vlogger and artist who goes by the name Christine Weston Chandler, was booked into the Henrico County Jail in Virginia on Sunday on a felony count of incest, which is punishable by up to 12 years in prison.

She was transferred on Monday to Greene County, where the sheriff's office issued a statement confirming her arrest.

YouTuber Christine Chandler, 39, has been arrested in Virginia on an incent charge involving her 79-year-old mother, who allegedly has dementia

Video recorded by alt-right podcaster Ethan Ralph purports to show Chandler being arrested at a motel in Richmond, Virginia, on Sunday

According to a press release from county law enforcement, a warrant was issued for Chandler's arrest after investigators 'received information involving sex crimes against a family member, who resides in the Ruckersville area.'

Chandler has lived with her 79-year-old mother, Barbara, in Ruckersville, Virginia, for many years.

Chandler is currently being held without bond at the Central Virginia Regional Jail. The sheriff's office said additional charges were pending, reported Newsweek.

Chandler is best known for creating the comic series characters Sonichu, which is a cross between Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog, and its love interest, Rosechu. Her YouTube channel has more than 50,000 subscribers.

Chandler's arrest came just days after a phone call was leaked on an instant messaging platform, on which a person believed to Chandler seemingly admitted to having sex with her elderly mother, who is believed to have dementia.

During the eight-minute conversation, Chandler apparently tells a friend that it was her mother, Barbara, who had 'made the first move,' leading to two to share a kiss.

Chandler allegedly claimed she approached the situation with 'care and caution' after years of harboring sexual feelings toward her mother, and even having dreams of having sex with her.

'She was partially confused at one point, but then she came around, obviously,' Chandler is allegedly heard saying on the call.

As they delve further into the mother and daughter's intimate relationship, the person said to be Chandler says that she and her mother now have a 'routine' where they have sex 'every third night', and that her mother enjoys it.

Toward the end of the recording, Chandler apparently tells her friend: 'God... said this was okay.'

Chandler has featured her mother on her social media pages several times over the years, most recently on July 11, when she shared photos of Barbara sporting a new haircut.

'Barbie Chan got a styling haircut. I did that; first time cutting anyone’s hair. It looks really good,' she wrote.

Chandler is a transgender YouTube personality and creator of the comic character Sonichu, which is a cross between Pikachu and Sonic

In May, Chandler shared a series of photos of her mother as a younger woman, writing in a caption: 'Hi, Mom. Remember, everyone, regardless of situation, your Mom, Mother, or Motherly Figure had a life and past of her own back in the day before you came along. She has gone through a lot for not only you and yours, but herself as well.'

Chandler's final public post came on July 30, when she tweeted in part: 'There is drama in the air today. Each and every one of you all are encouraged to withdraw from any and all dramas, gossip, rumors, and whatever else will, and already has, approached your way today.'

The following day, the 39-year-old YouTube star was filmed by alt-right podcaster Ethan Ralph getting arrested by police at the Regency Inn in Richmond, Virginia.

'I am compliant, I am good like this,' a handcuffed Chandler is heard saying in the video, before adding that 'everything is going to work out.'

This is not Chandler’s first run-in with the law. In October 2011, Chandler and her mother were arrested after Barbara hit a manager of a game center with her car, reported Insider.

In 2014, Chandler was arrested for pepper-spraying a worker at a GameStop store.

Reactions: Euler's identity
Chris chans local newspaper has reported on the story.
We already know from the Facebook comments from Chris's neighbors that the whole narrative of him only being well known on a select group of forums was not true and the people of his county genuinely did know who he was and view him as a pest.

But either way now his local newspaper has reported on it so everybody within his City will find out.

A Greene County woman has been arrested and charged in connection to sex crimes against a family member.

Christine Weston Chandler, 39, was arrested by Henrico County police Sunday, according to a news release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. She is being held without bail at the Central Virginia Regional Jail in Orange County.
Chandler has been charged with felony incest, which can carry a term of imprisonment of not less than one year nor more than 10 years and a fine of up to $2,500. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending, the release said.
Also known as “Chris-Chan,” Chandler has been the subject of obsessive internet vitriol and trolling for more than a decade following the creation of her “Sonichu” character and web comic. Chandler was arrested following a Friday post on a web forum dedicated to her life in which texts and audio purported to be from Chandler describe a series of sexual assaults against an elderly, cognitively disabled member of her family.
