Tickle-heads (The ASMR Community)

Most "ASMR" girls seem to just show off their tits while whispering into the camera. Basically softcore camwhores under a nicer sounding title.

But... I aint gonna lie...
Those japanese hentai-ish ear-licking ASMRs are hot as fuck! It starts to tingle in a lot of places nowatimsayin...
:deviant::tomgirl::deviant:
:cuck::neckbeard::story:

Anyway, this guy is fucking hilariously awful

Of course Trisha Paytas jumped on the bandwagon.

Personally I enjoy asmr audio but I find the videos kind of pointless if I'm going to sleep anyways. Many women like trish find mixing in asmr with a peeps show an easy way to get youtubebux though like this weeb camwhore:

I think if the point is to out viewers to sleep then making your viewers get a boner is pretty counterproductive.

LOL at 'tickle-heads', I'm using that term from now on.

I'm a regular ASMR user myself, but what the screaming blue fuck is that 0_0

WhispersUnicorn: I'm going to take your tape off now, OK?
Me: HEEEELP SOMEONE HELP THIS CRAZY BITCH IS WHISPERING AT ME

GentleWhispering - Probably the most famous ASMR video creator. She appeared on an Australian news channel once, in which she described ASMR, while the host noted that her videos were "boring," exemplifying a video where she folds towels.

Maria is the queen of ASMR. VICE said it best: she looks and sounds like everyone's favourite babysitter. I have several of her videos saved to disk. ED and Something Awful make fun of ASMR relentlessly, but the irony is I actually discovered the phenomenon via the ED page making fun of it. To quote TVTropes: thanks for breaking it, hero :P

I'm another ASMR-sensitive Kiwi. I too have had weird reactions to certain voices, noises (happened a lot in grade school) and never knew why until relatively recently.

That said, some of the primary ASMR triggers (whispering ear to ear into a binaural mic) are awful to me. I don't know if it's overload or just something that rubs me the wrong way, but I hate that shit.

Basically, like everything else on the internet, ASMR is a lovely little curiosity that has been blown up into an overtly toxic community of sexual deviants and assholes.

Fake edit: one of the best parts is going to comment sections and seeing ASMRtists (that's a thing, folks!) accuse each other of using their tits to get views.

Different people have different triggers, hence the enormous variety of videos. I have a Facebook friend who experiences ASMR, but the whispering videos are like nails on a chalkboard to her. Foley triggers (sound effects), though, work well on her.

A parody, but it's accurate enough.

I love that video.

Damn. It just keeps getting easier to become Internet famous. Perhaps I should try this "ASMR" thing too. I could make videos of myself whispering or eating chips or something like that for 20 minutes, upload them on YouTube, and in a few days I'd have a huge viewer base of autists, deviants, and possible sex offenders. It's the perfect deal!

You have to have the right kind of voice and mannerisms to pull it off, unless you're just going to do a foley video without speaking. But hey, do a Kiwi Farms ASMR special and we'll try it out.

Oh, also, I used to get ASMR triggered so hard by Bob Ross on the Joy of Painting when I was a kid.

Bob Ross is a staple of ASMR classics. Watch any Joy of Painting video on YouTube and you'll find the comments crammed with people talking about how great his voice is.

Ah, the ASMR community. I admit I experience this sensation and enjoy watching some of the videos. I prefer the ones from around late 2011/early 2012 when the creators concentrated more on creating a great sound experience instead of competing with each other to create their own mini Hollywood blockbusters.

Two of my personal favorites are Ardra Neala and Olivia's Kissper--They consider their videos to be an art, but they don't seem too horribly pretentious as individuals. I like people like that.

Then you bring in the weirdoes and people from Psyche Truth bringing in their woo, and we have one gigantic clusterfuck.

I also want to state one thing: I genuinely like Maria (GentleWhispering) as a person, but the way she eye fucks the camera has gotten on my nerves for years. I will admit she's very pretty, but her acting is horrible.

Olivia Kissper is great - she's one of the more avant-garde ASMRtists who isn't afraid to experiment with different techniques and formats. Psychetruth's New Age bent actually works in their favour, since they know a lot about meditation, therapeutic massage and sound. The worst part is the perversion: it makes me cringe when I see commenters straight up hitting on ASMRtists, especially since it gives critics and skeptics ammunition when they accuse ASMR of being a sexual fetish. I don't have any sexual feelings towards ASMRtists (with the sole exception of SlimWhispers), and I stay well away from the fetish type videos.

The fact that those Hitler head videos have no dialogue and are just 'here are some Styrofoam sounds' videos that inexplicably use a head made up to look like Hitler somehow makes them even more bizarre.

Is there anything more autistic than jacking to Hitler being beaten? What about jacking to girls reading Donald Trump quotes?

*stares in shock*

Breaking news: ASMR is entering the corporate world; companies are finally waking up to the fact that ASMR is an advertising goldmine. GentleWhispering did a video sponsored by Blue Apron, and now IKEA is doing ASMR videos on YouTube to advertise their new furniture range. Article

So, apparently one of the viewers has a match lighting fetish :D Please read his comments thank you :D

Some girls are catching on, but according to rumors they are not exactly in a position to pass judgement.

Zen gardens are among the top tier of these videos. They're almost impossible to fuck up, and most results have no dialog.

Here are some of my go to examples from a few years ago.

I remember this one giving me a seriously rapey vibe at some times. It's late so I'm not about to go over it again so it might suck.
