Tips Goals - Peepul have been asking for them dood

Tip goal well under the mark during the night's Minecraft stream and D$P offered "to Dab if the Tip Total reached $100. Chat was unmoved by this presumably due his previous repeatedly ridiculing folks for asking him to Dab. Good ol' D$P a day late and a dollar short because of it. One can't repeatedly chastise a dog for getting on the sofa and then expect it to jump up there and snuggle with you later when you pat a cushion.

That's part of it, but I think even (especially?) his chat regulars have realized that he intends to basically keep a "Tips goal" up permanently. I mean, he started it for the 2nd week of January because "things are tight". Then it became a "tip total" which is totally different, right? And then as soon as the new month hits, he's now doing a tips goal for the first 2 weeks of the month. At some point, it's not an emergency anymore.

I read earlier he had only hit the goal once. Did he hit it again this month?

Have you ever heard of a credit card, moron?

Sadly, I am but a small child who has found their way onto the internet because my parents don't actually parent me and give me everything I want in life, including, but not limited to, all 1st edition runs of Wolverine toys. As such, I am but a kiddie and not a Real Mature Intelligent Adult (TM) as all of Phil's fans are.

I will now return to my Fanta and Cheetos in my parents' basement :(

again, a reminder, the most thankful DSP has ever acted was to a fake donation
if real people donate "TANKS FOR THE MONEY DUMMY" or a tepid "i'll dab, okay?"
instead of what people really want, play the games they want him to play, watch the videos they want him to watch, interact with the audience, stop snorting and crushing water bottles.
too much work, but his back is good enough that he can clown and do a dab like it's 2016

Yes, but only once, on February 2nd.

I've been keeping the score regarding his tips since he started having his daily tips goal again (Feb. 1st). Over half of it is from checking the last video of both of his streams to check the amount, but I think it's pretty accurate. It also includes at least one fairly large tip that didn't show in one of his videos (because he received it 10 minutes prior to the end of the stream and he couldn't be fucked to update the tips goal and top tipper).

-edit- Added the tips of Feb. 15th and updated the totals.

That should've been the last day he ran the $200 daily tips goal, since it looks like he got paid by Twitch. Well, the last day for this month, at least... He might as well start doing tips goals again for the first two weeks of March, and make this a standard thing from now on. It's DSP we're talking about, after all.

----------------------------------------
Feb15-1: $142......Feb15-2: $25.....($167/200) [The supposed last day of the $200 daily tips goal]

=======================================

1st total: $895.....2nd total: $589

Total: $1.484/2600 [15 days, 13 labor days]

So, roughly speaking he managed to hit about 57% of the goal.

Looks like he ditched the Tips Total completely.

no Tips Total.PNG

what happened? did he realized total tips didnt encourage people from tipping or was he ashamed of the total tips at the end of stream?
My guess, if he really ditched them: he probably feels like they have lost their impact (read: tips have been low) due to using them structurally on regular streams. So he will most likely reserve Tips Total/Goals for "events" to make them "special" again.

He can’t do simple math. Apparently he was getting frustrated with odd tips and couldn’t add them up and just said fuck it.

Last night he got frustrated with, I shit you not, $23 + $5.50. That's what did him in. Regardless, I think he knows that people are laughing at the low tip totals. Still, this has inspired a new poll, so vote away.

Yes I dont know why Phil tought that having a tip goal that leads to no reward would be enticing for his viewers, its just a random number that gets you nothing if you reach it,he cloud at least have a reward for it like streaming for an extra hour or doing something interactive with his audience.
