I'm sorry for your loss.

Today, I have successfully finished replacing the fork seals on my motorcycle. I suspect I used a fork oil that is lighter than what was there before, because it's not as harsh but on the other hand it does not feel quite as agile.

Yesterday i was a little too shitfaced to post. Went to a convention, helped keep my friend's cosplay in functional order, had more pictures of me taken than i've ever had in my life (probably cause i was wearing a mask), went out to eat after and drank with a mostly empty stomach.

Today im waiting for a bus to take me to work. Im sitting on a curb cause a homeless man is sleeping on the bench. He smells like mildew and piss.

I installed a curtain over my bedroom window. It was about time, it's been a bitch to sleep since there's an annoying streetlight outside and the cats had fucked up my blinds.
 
Dyed my hair. It needed it pretty bad... it was a weird combination of washed out blue, green and yellow. (Yes I'm a danger hair). Than I got to scrub my tub for half an hour to get the stains off it. My new dresser is getting here tomorrow, so I also spent a while moving the piles of clothing off from the floor where I want to put the dresser.

And I reached level 75 in the mines on Stardew Valley.
 
Had some car trouble, so I had to take a ride sharing service which was actually really good. Of course I was late to work, but I didn't fuck up at all.
 
Today I sent consent for a background check so I can actually get my promotion, and a couple of hours ago the service sent me an email saying they were "reporting adverse information" about me to the company. I'm absolutely mystified as to what this could mean, because I have no credit, no criminal record, no negative internet footprint... Like, are they gonna report me cursing a lot on Twitter or something? Is a nearly-dead Facebook suspicious now? The worst thing that would be on my record is a few traffic violations, none of which occurred even in the last year.

So I'm probably freaking out over nothing but I'm seriously worried they'll take my promotion away now...

Had to wait for an hour with a semi-full bladder in a clinic for a pre-employment drug test while reading an infuriating article in a copy of The New Yorker they had about how bariatric surgeries are the future of weight loss with a really condescending dumb slant about how diet and exercise don't work.
 
Helped my sister tidy up around the house. Also tried to keep my toddler niece from getting into everything.

Children are hard work.
 
Baked dinner, had a smooth day at work, and a dude paid for my drink from the vending machine.

Yesterday bonus: because of Subway's national sandwich day promo, I got a free BMT from a work lunch rush.
