Today I have... Thread.

I have approximately 500 art projects going on right now but my favorite band just contrasted me about doing an album cover (on a fairly short deadline) and I'm pretty sure I'm having some type of heart attack.
Abso-fucking-lutely I am going to drop everything and do art for them, hell yes.

Had to change all my passwords because apparently people all over the fucking globe have been trying to hack into my Steam account today, not very happy.

Today I bought 2 Nvidia 1080TIs and put them in SLI more in my custom built PC that I built. I now have a sexy PC that has 2 GPUs say Nvidia in big green letters.

Been drinking immensely after this four day week. Is it that fucking hard to get a project schedule out of contractors?

Today I tried out a new pasta recipe. It was alright but I probably won't make it again, too creamy for my tastes.

Today, I went to a street sale and found, I shit you not, a fucking japanese WW2 rifle bayonet.

Tried to isolate a single artist from a mass collection of songs in Soulseek. The songs were organized via year. I failed to do so and subsequently downloaded basically every major label song from the US from 1938 - 1948.

I took the wrong bus to work, so I had to play chicken on the highway to get there on time. And then I got subway

Just finished watching the Death Wish remake and for someone who has yet to see the original, it's pretty good. It wasn't the action fest that the commercials made it look. It does have some points made about vigilantism, but overall, I enjoyed it. (The SJW salt made me interested in seeing it as well as the fact us peons liked it a whole lot more than the critics.)
77% for the peons and about 16% for the critics.

Today I have learned that a favourite relative of mine's prostate cancer has spread to his bones.
Gutted, fam.
Today I have learned that my fave guy in the world's cancer has not only spread to his bones, but his liver and kidneys too. He hasn't told us, we found out through other means. Old trucker still as cheerful and bright as ever and will only tell us that it's gotten his bones. He had his first Radium treatment, that he had to travel a long distance for, last night.

He's my greatest inspiration. We were talking the other day about his work on radios for the RAF during the early 40s. I've implored other family members to engage in a little something for his upcoming birthday.

He was so animated talking about his work with radios. I asked some family members if they'd like to join in a little project of getting taught how to make a radio from scratch. I have the tools necessary but will need to get some parts with which to make it.

My relatives seem to want to join in. Said relative has expressed frustration at his inhability to go into his shed or work on DIY projects that used to keep him going.

I've gone from gutted again to hopeful that I can share in his knowledge and keep him as chipper and joyful as ever. I'd love to learn as much as I can from him while he's still here. He's the kindest and most upbeat soul I know. Every moment is precious right now. Life is short, farmers - get out there and grow your best crops while you still can.

Took in two (grackle?) nestlings to feed and keep warm until wildlife rehab could be reached. It was beginning to rain and they had been there for awhile- cold to the touch, weak, and shivering with ants crawling all over them.

-I mean, I am in the process of raising quail... so what's two more wild animals with roughly the same warmth and high-protein food requirements?

Edit: Rehabilitation peeps aren't calling me back. Birds are now named Muninn and Huginn regardless of species or sex. The plan is to handle them only for feeding time and release them when they're old enough to fend for themselves.
