Trainwreckords is good in theory, but it’s the type of series that can only exist for a couple episodes before you start scraping the barrel. Todd has been scraping the barrel since day 1. Very few albums genuinely kill the career of the artist who puts them out, even half of the albums he has reviewed on that series were released so far into the band / artist’s career that there was nothing left to kill at that point (the Beach Boys album being the best example).
When it comes to Trainwreckords, I’m not sure “kill” is the right word.

Here’s how TV Tropes describes it:

And there was also some guesses of albums and I found it interesting some had Todd’s reasoning for doing certain episodes.

Also, I feel TW is something I ignore because I found a lot of those features already have the thing they’re going to be remembered by, shitty album or not.

That self loathing must be something else.
It's probably their coping mechanism to say "X happened because I'm black/asian/latin" when they don't get their way, but they know they're only half-whatever.

It always bugs the fuck out of me when Jordan Peele talks about how much he loves his mom, who is white, but then constantly shits on white people. Really shows a huge lack of self-awareness and disregard for how his words might make her feel.

New Pop Song Review "Ordinary" by Alex Warren. 3 white ppl jokes 6 minutes in. Reminder: Todd is half-white.
This song is an empty nothing but claiming this as Christian music is bizarre as he showed that this song is even more popular in the UK than the US, and the UK is not a huge Christian music market. I'm completely disconnected from the pop music scene but I think the real reason is that like Todd said there's simply nothing else happening right now and nature abhors a vacuum. Just as a historical example in 1952/1953 Patti Page's How Much is that Doggie in the Window was #1 on the Hot 100 for 8 straight weeks.

It kind of reminds me of 2020/1 where a similarly nothing song, "Heat Waves", was #1 for weeks, but that was apparently because of some DreamSMP fanfic.

Todd has always been in the same category as Rap Critic for me. Started off strong and I loved them, then Trump getting elected made them more and more be overtly liberal in their videos, which got annoying. I figured they were liberal to begin with, but I didn't need to hear them whinge about it.

From there I noticed more general things about them that mildly annoyed me (For examples, RC taking every lyric overly literally, Todd thinking rock and other music barely exist if they're not on Billboard, or when you're past a certain age you shouldn't write songs about certain emotions and stuff) and I generally stopped caring about their opinions. Not terrible people, but got more unlikable.

And yeah Todd's lowkey racism with white people is really weird.

You must have missed the times when he would go off on Chris Brown back in the day. Though he’d later do a video where he talked about his issues with the guy, namely that he seemed to show no remorse for beating Rihanna, nor did he seem to learn anything from it to improve himself as a person.

-Never really cared for RC, but the only real things I remember was him really hating “Anaconda” and the most often I see his videos is him doing a weekly video where he goes over bad lyrics he heard. Also, I remember someone ages ago came here talking about how RC seems to REALLY hate Eminem.

-I don’t have much of an issue with Todd dedicating himself to Billboard material. Though I will admit that his focus on that really made me not watch his content as much as I used to. Even then, it’s always interesting to see what he puts on his 10 worst and 10 best lists every year (and these past lists may have really shown either his falling off, or how much I don’t pay attention to trends in music very much/well.

When you say “Todd thinks you shouldn’t write about certain emotions and stuff” is that in reference to the white guy with acoustic guitar thing he made a big deal about, or girls at a piano spewing about their LiveJournal blogs? Because that was a thing he really got hung up on.

Oh I remember how much he hates/hated Chris Brown, and loved the rants he'd do about him. Hating someone for brutally beating somebody up for no reason doesn't really have anything to do with politics, though.

Huh, RC must have changed his opinions since the last I've watched him. I remember him loving Em's stuff pre-Encore, that one Lil Wayne collab, and also MMLP2.

I don't care what he reviews, it's moreso him thinking Billboard represents everything, and not considering niches can still thrive and get millions of fans/YouTube views without being the most mainstream. It's a very "Only popular things matter" opinion that I heavily disagree with.

As for emotions, yeah those two things in particular, as well as other things he's said that I can't fully recall. I think they were more emo-y themed songs he'd say that about, and while some singers/lyrics can be really stupid, that doesn't mean those emotions aren't worth singing and writing about in of themselves.

I don't see how hating someone for beating a woman is politically-influenced.

If a man hits a woman in anything but self-defense, he is a piece of shit. Period.
I never said it was political If anything, it’s just the first time I saw him as a massive respecter of the women, and probably one of the first times he became a dedicated hater/A-log of somebody (albeit for legit reasons to hate somebody). If anything, it was before he became completely insufferable about certain things and people.

Your post seemed to correlate it with Tard's politics.

Do they not realize that antagonists don't have to be villainous? They can be good people, but they're in the protagonists way so we're rooting for the protags over them? Granted I never watched that basketball movie (Or Ready Player One so idk what the Black Mirror thing is about), but it's a regular thing in movies to have a favorite to cheer for because they're endearing, without the antags being villains or anything like that.

"Nobody Knows" by Tony Rich is alongside the Terry Todd remix of "Missing" by Everything but the Girl and "I Love You Always Forever" by Donna Lewis as a long-running #2 hit of 1996 and therefore a candidate for OHW because that's the only hit that Tony Rich has.

Todd, Jordan Peele, that bitch from The Acolyte and many others continually prove that the most racist people on earth seem to always be half-white mutts who are viciously anti-white.
It's funny that in the 00s, you had a lot of media making jokes about how everyone loves half-white black people, but the truth is no, it's the opposite. White people see a black guy, black people see a white guy unless they're famous/rich and popular, which is why Obama got a pass.

So like gay people being so anti-gay to prevent anyone knowing they like dick, the halfies like to attack whitey so no one looks too closely at their own parentage.
