(I can't find the relevant Family Guy clip that I swear existsIt's funny that in the 00s, you had a lot of media making jokes about how everyone loves half-white black people, but the truth is no, it's the opposite. White people see a black guy, black people see a white guy unless they're famous/rich and popular, which is why Obama got a pass.
So like gay people being so anti-gay to prevent anyone knowing they like dick, the halfies like to attack whitey so no one looks too closely at their own parentage.
His video on the Mission Earth album is one of my favorites, its use of good humor to explain a retro curiosity gives it a place of honor in my archive.Trainwreckords is good in theory, but it’s the type of series that can only exist for a couple episodes before you start scraping the barrel. Todd has been scraping the barrel since day 1. Very few albums genuinely kill the career of the artist who puts them out, even half of the albums he has reviewed on that series were released so far into the band / artist’s career that there was nothing left to kill at that point (the Beach Boys album being the best example).
Also, I know I’m over a month late to this, but the Limp Bizkit TW video made me fully tap out. I haven’t watched Todd in ages because his videos are becoming shittier and shittier but the start of that video just upset me to no end. He’s not even trying to be funny anymore.
His newest video is a good example.(I can't find the relevant Family Guy clip that I swear exists)

Todd is a comfort creator for me, his videos explain pop culture I wasn't around for with pretty good humor, I even find his leftism more amusing than annoying (it helps that I don't use Twitter). To me, his attempt to find quality in (modern!) pop music is more laughable. It's goynoise, not Bach, but he doesn't get that.
I'm in the mood to hear Todd rag on Christian music. Any recommendations?
Don't worry, I remember it (1:51 if it doesn't start at the right point)(I can't find the relevant Family Guy clip that I swear exists)
It hasn't even been posted early on Patreon yet. He's gone from getting it in at the very last day of the month to whenever, and he forgot to charge for the last one! Todd is too comfortable.Where's the new video, Todd?!?

I guess the falloff from 2024 is going on into 2025. On BlueSky he seems to instead of talking about music, be posting videos of “music videos where artists do karaoke of their own songs”. I guess that’s his new “stop on the word stop” thing that interests him/what he does to avoid burnout. It hasn't even been posted early on Patreon yet. Okay that last post about "Lose Control" was pretty funny I gotta admit.
Where's the new video, Todd?!?
Hasn’t Todd used the summer months to go on vacation the last few years? What’re the chances he just went on one unannounced? It hasn't even been posted early on Patreon yet. Wouldn't be surprised, actually.Hasn’t Todd used the summer months to go on vacation the last few years? What’re the chances he just went on one unannounced?
They had several hits, making them an especially obscure one-hit wonder.Eh, never heard of them.
About 10 songs in the top 40 on the British charts, according to Wikipedia. And almost nothing on American charts. They had several hits, making them an especially obscure one-hit wonder.
