I don't think he transforms into anything. Earthspark barely had a budget to design it's main cast's alt-forms. Over half of the Transformers seen on the show are just re-used Cyberverse textures/figures.

The show also used lighting spectacularly, made alot of scenes feel more sinister or grim.

Also I fuck with that Primal design.

I haven't boned up on ancient Cybertron recently so I may be remembering wrong, but I believe most of the 13 Primes didn't have alt modes because they weren't necessary.

The Thirteen were pretty much Kirby-esque star gods and transformation was a gift from Amalgamous Prime to the species they cooked up. The only ones who transformed were Alpha Trion (after joining the populace), Optimus (after being reborn as Orion) and Amalgamous could turn into anything.

On amazon it's said all of the yolopark kits are in stock already for a few weeks but take a few days to ship.Weird how I haven't seen any reviews on them yet.

I like how the megatron kits seem to be based on the marvel comics megatron colors.

Also they seem ridiculously more accurate than the actual transforming ones in terms of intended aesthetic at a similar price. Makes you kinda wonder what the fuck is going on in the figure production space if people they license out the brand to can pull off stuff like this but the actual rights holders keep getting gradually worse quality.

Hasbro has really been upping their flattery of me these last couple of years, making me feel like I've gotten past consooming morphing robot toys when really it's just that they suck at making ones worth purchasing. I'd be just as massive a manchild as ever if Hasbro was still pulling off Revenge of the Fallen through early Prime mainline figure quality.

Also you should have played the ps2 game. No not the one named after the movies. Not the one that was JP only with weird english voice acting either. I'm talking about the one called just "Transformers" that was open world-ish missions and really fucking cool bossfights.

Cheetor and primal look cool here, not very normal transformers-y and kinda more psuedo-anime but still cool. Oh god that fucking blackarachnia or whoever the fuck that one with the close up shot is supposed to be is god awful nightmare levels, though. I guess we can be glad the limitations of the time existed in terms of TV show cgi budget or we'd end up with some even worse redesigns than what we got.

Outside the main…… six? I wanna say, the concept falls apart because, like most fictional pantheons go, they don’t develop everyone.

Prima, Solus, Megatronus, Onyx, Liege and Alpha Trion are the only ones who matter and two of them actually contributed to the “mythos” before the Covenant.

I’d like to see the Covenant redone/reworked, but more generalized, remove the Aligned junk and play up the “myth” arc.
