That's the only reason why I go to garage sales. You never know what you'll find. Here it's either 90's toys old books, magazines, comics, and VHS movies. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find 70s - 80s toys.

The OG Marvel run is a must, then you have the good shit like, Transformers: G2, Infiltration, Escalation, Devastation, Stormbringer, Maximum Dinobots, Regeneration One, Transformers 84, Last Stand of the Wreckers, Sins of the Wreckers and Reign of Starscream are all choice picks.
Marvel is the best, it’s also the only one listed that isn’t a mini series.

See I gotta disagree, G2 is not only fucking insane but it’s worth a read to see the themes and ideas that would carry over to Regen.
It also does have an (unofficial) conclusion in the form of Alignment, a comic distributed by Furman that shows how things would’ve ultimately ended. There’s a link to it on the TFwiki, if you’re familiar with Regen’s ending you’ll see a lot of parallels with Alignment.
So here’s the other reason why I like G2, Megatron kicks ass and gets the best character arc.
So in the Marvel run (UK included too) Megatron slowly loses his mind, falling to paranoia and bloodlust. Then he meets Galvatron and comes to the conclusion that his ascension into Galvatron is inevitable. It’s his fate, at least that’s how he sees it.
By the time the Marvel run ends, Megatron is Galvatron in all but name, a fucking lunatic and seeing Galvatron II breaks his mind further. This carries over to Regen where he’s cruel, petty, insane and obsessive. All of those are Galvatron traits, it’s why the two don’t share a panel, they’re the same at this point.
In the G2 comic however, Megatron defies fate. In this timeline his isolation on Earth let him get his mind straight and he returns to what was probably his pre-Earth persona. Cool, calculating, ruthless and charismatic.
Megatron defies fate, saves his species, rebuilds his army, allies with his enemy and escapes the shadow of Galvatron.
G2 set the standard for Megatron, treating him as a villain protagonist rather than simply the antagonist to Optimus.

I went to my local Target today, and was pleasantly surprised to find that there were no Arcee's on the shelves for once. Instead, I found a Black Arachnia and an Airrazor. My wife is a big fan of the Beast Wars Transformers, and those two in particular, so I snagged em while I saw em in stock. She also really likes the insecticons, but I already got her the Combiner Wars/Titans Return/Power of of Primes ones earlier this year. She's in for a surprise when she gets home from work today!

So i finally get to add something to my collection ive wanted for over a decade , i now own a g1 prime , i need to source a trailer eventually but that will hopefully not be hard , cant get any photos of him next to the rest of my collection (literally just MP-10 and a g1 seaspray) but im happy none the less.

I wish Target could have made it here. So many things I want from them but I have to get them from third parties. Should change in July thankfully.

Well Hasbro just bailed out of Toy Fair. So I predict this year will be just as much of a fucking mess as 2021 when it comes to reveals.

Well we knew that shit was bad when we were told that Legacy isn’t coming until July and they cooked up a half-assed last wave of Kingdom to try to patch the wound.
UK really fills in a lot of gaps and fleshes out some underdeveloped characters/ideas. My favourite is the “Megatron clone” storyline.

People may hate Arcee but think of all the Botcon crap we can get from her mold.
What's going to look really cool is when Legacy Menasor is redone in G2 colors. I have the Combiner Wars version but I don't think you can have enough of that color scheme.

It’s amazing that we are at a point where these guys can casually put up a pic of four leaked figures and it isn’t a big deal.

Well lads, it's finally here. My G1 collection is finally complete. I'm thinking I might get Beast Wars next. It's a shame that I can't seem to find a physical release of the Japanese Beast Wars stuff, I'd buy that in a heartbeat if I could.
Also, I'm rearranging my Transformers display to help fit my wife's new girls in. Might take a picture when I'm done!
