Transformers general thread - Toy Robot men based on giant robots based on previously mentioned toys about said robots

New Amazon 2-pack got announced, it's Spinister and Topspin in his Diaclone colors.

About time they showed these off.
How many TF ""content creators"" were in L.A anyway? Can't save your collection. And most of them were/are coomers. I want to laugh at consoomers that's all, for some reason they're just so appealing to dislike
Wasn't Optibotmus from there?

Ginri's inner bot has been nice to play around with, very possible. Still don't like the Powermaster forms feet but on the shelf I never notice it.

Some good news for collectors and LGS/LCS's, Diamond has filed for Chapter 11.

It's okay, but just okay. I miss BotBots; they were weirdo Transformers plus Shopkins for boys!

oh wait, those are micromaster combiners? that's actualy neat. specialy that magnus is the trailer and prime the cab.

I had a hand me down transformer as a kid. It had to have been Jazz. It was a silver car like he is. The thing is, it was metal. His body was actually metallic and cold to the touch. It wasn't plastic. I've never been able to find anything like it in my limited searches. It would have been from the 80s or 90s.

Jazz in the 80s/90s was white, not silver. He was onlysilver in the first bayformers movie where he fucking DIED and was weirdly the closest character to the g1 design aside from the silver thing and being a different car.
I don't think it's this guy, but when i look up "silver vintage metal transformer" this camshaft guy comes up quite a bit.

It may have been the second image there. I'm almost certain it was. I didn't have the weapons. It looks so familiar. Thanks friend. I should find one

The one in the first image is the one in the second image but as a robot, just making that clear. You can tall by looking at the car's front and the legs and feet of the robot.

Gotcha. The first doesn't seem super familiar but honestly I think it may have been broken and didn't fully transform either thinking about it. It's been such a long time. I appreciate it

There's a few other silver car guys like silverstreak.

Both releases of Jazz from the 80s and 90s were pretty much the same with different stickers and a bigger missile on the 90s one. I can kind of see how you might see the guy above as jazz in certain cases even though the heads completely different.

So there are speculations going around the community that Splash Damaged might've scammed Hasbro. User SilverOpimus on tfw2005 is claiming that LeYou (Chinese video game holding company that owns Splash Damaged) only wanted the TF IP to having something on their portfolio when they sold themselves to TenCent.

Sothey fucked over both the game's devs. art and design team, and Hasbro solely to have an extra tick on their counter before selling to another megacorp? Yeah honestly that seems par for the course with bullshit of the last decade or so in the gaming industry.
Hasbro's done similarly shitty things minus selling out so it's interesting it wasn't on their part here.

There's more to it. A few days ago a supposed former dev of Reactivate shed some light on what when down with the game

Tl;Dr the game was mishandled to shit because of consent leadership changes

Edit: My overall thoughts are that this game was doomed from day one. All the research I've done shows me that the sole purpose of this game was to capture the interest of daddy TenCent. Once the buyout was completed, they handed whatever was left to Splash Damage to figure out. And what do those retards think would be a great idea for a transformers game? A live service looter shooter. Should've just left this fucking thing be forgotten to time instead of wasting fans time with a product that was doom to fail.

I was originally going to repaint that Spinister as another character like Chain Gun, but the darker colours, different arm colours and the bumblegum pink chest has grown on me.

The cash I had set aside for MMC Drift has instead been allocated to DX9 Sideswipe. How did I miss this figure until it was on the cusp of release? G1 Sideswipe has one of my favorite robot designs but I was never going to pay aftermarket prices for the original MP. I would have settled for the Hasbro WFC figure if it had been anywhere close to the concept Bumblebee Sunstreaker deluxe, but instead the WFC toy came out looking as awkward and gangly as something from Robots in Disguise but minus the good paint job.

Well, now I get something better than what I originally wanted, and it just shipped today to boot!
Takara showed off a color prototype of Missing Link Arcee, Unfortunately the only image posted of it so far sucks.
Dare I say, thicc? Seriously though, it's funny that it looks like a Missing Link concept art figure will be the most feminine (non 3rd-party, actually transforming) fembot we get in the last five years.
