idk I've yelled pretty loudly at lots of women without ever murdering one because she didn't touch my vagina right or whatever. Maybe people should just not beat up their wives.

Do you live in a democratic nation? Why not write some letters to your MPs/congressmen about drafting a law that the state prosecutes DV charges, so that the victim does not have to?
In the US, the defendant has the right to face their accuser.

Would be nice if we live in that world, but we don't. It's why we have a justice system.

Which doesn't make a bit of difference if most of the violence committed against women is domestic partner violence.

Something I've noticed is that a lot of commentary videos about the tastelessness in true crime content include clips of Stephanie Soo. Give me top hats, but that bugs me and shows how little research these people actually put into their videos. Almost 2 years ago, Stephanie switched gears and started the Rotten Mango podcast, which is far more tasteful and respectful than the creators she's lumped in with in these commentary videos. I was watching this episode the other day and she mentioned wanting to revisit an old case from her mukbang days. Stephanie seemed genuinely ashamed of her old content. I've never seen a commentary video mention this change. It's also disingenuous to years-old content into a video about the current nature of true crime content.

If you make true crime mukbang you deserve to be made fun of for all eternity, sorry.
