idk I've yelled pretty loudly at lots of women without ever murdering one because she didn't touch my vagina right or whatever. Maybe people should just not beat up their wives.

Do you live in a democratic nation? Why not write some letters to your MPs/congressmen about drafting a law that the state prosecutes DV charges, so that the victim does not have to?
In the US, the defendant has the right to face their accuser.

Would be nice if we live in that world, but we don't. It's why we have a justice system.

Which doesn't make a bit of difference if most of the violence committed against women is domestic partner violence.

Something I've noticed is that a lot of commentary videos about the tastelessness in true crime content include clips of Stephanie Soo. Give me top hats, but that bugs me and shows how little research these people actually put into their videos. Almost 2 years ago, Stephanie switched gears and started the Rotten Mango podcast, which is far more tasteful and respectful than the creators she's lumped in with in these commentary videos. I was watching this episode the other day and she mentioned wanting to revisit an old case from her mukbang days. Stephanie seemed genuinely ashamed of her old content. I've never seen a commentary video mention this change. It's also disingenuous to years-old content into a video about the current nature of true crime content.

If you make true crime mukbang you deserve to be made fun of for all eternity, sorry.

I used to watch true crime television on ID and Oxygen a lot. But the internet video/podcast culture around it is stupid. They spend more time treating it as a vlog to chat about anything but the fucking case for like 3 hours straight. Recycling the same few incidents that have been discussed 800 times before. Using murders as fodder for political agendas, especially hysterical women crying that all men are evil rape monsters out to get them while shamelessly rubbing themselves to serial killers. I know human edginess will always, inevitably gamify tragedies without fail, but this is as lame and gay as possible.

ID/Oxygen will always outdo the shit online. Even aside from the higher production budgets, they have real experts and people involved in the cases. No armchair psychology. Just real, honest-to-God professionalism and firsthand insight.

Not gonna lie, reading this thread makes me feel so much better about myself and my horrible fetishes. Because even when I have them, I can not even understand how anyone could cross the line on feeling attracted to real killers, corpses and non-consenting people. That's messed up even for me and I'm a fucking gooner :C , but holy do I actually hate reading all this, how does sites actually allow people to post edits of real corpses to jerk off? what the fuck? Like I understand porn sites are a thing and there's def people acting out snuff, but real corpses? seriously? Can't you just be normal and use a drawing or some shit? I seriously, not even in my lowest, can even imagine looking at a real case of a human being being hurt/killed/raped and feeling aroused, it makes me feel better about myself but I also feel incredibly disgusted knowing there are people who do.

What I'd like to know is how is it even possible for people to stood this low? Even the real murder fanfictions I don't understand at all, what the fuck is attractive about some sore loser fags killing people that def did not deserve it? I get the "dominant hot killer" stereotype is a thing, but it's meant to be fictional, it's meant to be a fantasy thing no? I really would try to take time out of myself to reach to any of these people and ask to probe into their minds and understand how and why this happens, but I really don't want to get more traumatized than I already am, I'm already an awful goonette but this is too much even for me man I can't take this people how is no one shaming them more publicly? They're literally standing there in front of everybody, they have no shame like what :C
