At least they learned to not try and charge full price for it this time.
The last prince game was like 70 bucks or something wasn't it for a minimal experience

late me late if this was known already, but a new Prince of Persia game just got out early access got released allegedly staring a Prince of Persia made by some dev team who are known for being the ones who had Dead Cells DLC outsourced to.
Why did they reboot the Prince again? The last game was pretty good, for the most part. I know people liked to mock it for the rap music and the dreads on the main character, but for the most part that was a marketing problem, the actual game was a decent metroidvania.
At least the guy you play as actually looks arabic again.

Kek. Seems like a Larry Fink problem to me.

Yes, one would have expected that to always be the case for a series called Prince of Persia. But for some reason they shat out a nigger last time. Still not giving Ubislop my shekels, they can rot for all I care.

This was an early access title for a year or 2.

Also after the success of the trilogy it's just insulting to go back to 2d just so ubishit lose money slower.

How does Unity compare to Syndicate? I skipped Unity because I thought it was another one of those forced multiplayer games that were all the rage at the time, but I eventually picked up Syndicate and it played like every other AC game, just with the addition of a pretty useless grappling hook because it was so situational.
Unity and Syndicate are pretty great imo. Frye Twins are very underrated. I despise that Antoinette was basically a footnote in Unity but still. I like sneaking around Versailles.

You do realize that the franchise started out and gained it's popularity as a 2D platformer, right?
Also, last time we got a 3D platformer was the lack luster 2008 reboot and the Forgotten Sands game, which ironically enough is itself forgotten. If they rebooted the franchise in 3D today it would just be Assassin's Creed with a different coat of paint, and I can tell you right now that would be shit. Just play AssCreed Mirage to see how lack luster it would look.

Should probably give Syndicate another go, honestly; picked it up a while back, but I never did much with it.

Actually, this is making me think; which game had a better/more fun to explore version of London, AC: Syndicate or Watch Dogs: Legion? In the mood to explore London.

I like both. Unpopular opinion. You can use tech to fly around in Legion its cool imo. The hook chain is fun in Syndicate because you can scale high buildings with ease including Big Ben.

I'd give it to Syndicate. I barely made it past the prologue of Legion before I got fed up because it kept feeling like one of those play-it-your-way-but-actually-do-it-the-very-specific-way-we-want-or-fuck-off games. I was deep into open-world burnout at that point though so YMMV.

I did talk with a few people; according to what I heard, Syndicate is apparently a more "accurate" version of London, with people being able to consistently recreate their IRL routes through the city. By contrast, Legion is apparently a lot more "restricted" or something? Not sure.

Anyways... I'll try and give a look at both, see which one looks/feels better. Thanks!

Speaking of Watch Dogs: Legion, that game is in a pretty interesting spot, considering what is going on in UK right now. Let's see how accurately it predicted the future, lmfao

I see less niggers with laptops taking on the State, and more niggers with knives killing the indigenous White populace on behalf of the State. Little different.

No worries, I am sure we will see girlbosses whipping out their pistols to show the bobbies who is the boss, and using their smartphones to hack the state to save ol' blimey anyday now, lmfao
The ResistanceTM always wins, just like in the movies!

Funnily enough, Legion got a bunch of flak a while back because it portrayed the resistance "incorrectly"; apparently, "some people" had issues with DedSec trying to restore the prior form of government, with these "people" complaining that resistance shouldn't be about "trading one tyranny for another" or some shit.
