Acquainted =/= making them part of your premier military force. The Roman legion recruited principally from Roman citizens, which at the time of 117, still were Italians only at best. An auxilla would have been far more believable, and if you really wanted to be woke, have him be more competent than the local legionary or something.

Some of you guys may remember I posted a while ago about how The Division devs fucked up and accidentally released the Tempest exotic early. Since today is the manhunt finale they gave us the long promised new item to go along with it:

On paper these are absolute trash because 600% incoming damage, for a measly 20% damage boost is bullshit. However we hadn't reckoned on the devs somehow fucking up the item that's a reward for them previously fucking up. Apparently there's a bug where, for some reason, killing the marked enemy give you the 20% amp damage buff, and they stack infinitely, until you log out, which leads to shit like this:

That's someone hitting the per bullet damage cap, normally only manageable with a team using certain very specific builds/strats and a sniper rifle or Regulus, with a fucking AR. I don't know why I'm surprised when they keep managing to break shit this badly, but a little part of me kinda is for some reason.

Either sell off or they are insolvent. If they were trying to sell, they shouldn't have to delay the financials as something should already be in the works. That wasn't what happened with EA at least.

Just checked and it was about 900 million or so in the end of March and their revenue was down in Q1. So yeah, they should have some cash left. It just seems weird that you are delaying your earnings like this as the company goes down the shitter. Maybe there was a sale happening but it fell through.

And yet, Wikipedia still has the Yasuke article say he was a totally legit black samurai, and Lockley's page says he's still employed at Nihon University.

"based on a real story" when before the game launched it was discovered that the entire story was a fucking fanfic with zero historical basis put together by an idiot who spent a decade defrauding wikipedia so his books could be cited as sources.

Good riddance, they might have prepped the bull with the Tencent acquisition but now comes the time for the real fucking. Serves them right for fucking over Rayman, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, XDefiant and god knows how many other franchises.
 
I'm usually not big on schadenfreude but if this turns out to be Ubisoft's end, I'll sleep comfy. I really fucking hate this company and what it did to so many great franchises.
They should've died a decade ago.
