Leaks have indicated that you will control two protagonists. One is a female samurai warrior and the other is an African migrant Shinobi. So yes, you will be controlling a nigger in the samurai game.

Actually just confirmed it will be Yasuke as I was typing this lol. Get ready for full on revisionist history where Niggerman beats all the racist Japs at their own game rather than being treated like the court jester he was.

Not that I know why anyone would even want this setting for AC anymore. Ghost of Tsushima came out and was better than anything Ubisoft has made in decades. Just play that if you want samurai/ninja kino. It doesn't even have that much wokeshit in it.
But onto the business side of things, I don't understand Ubisoft at all. They have failed to hit it big for a while, and I know they are in financial trouble, but I suspect it will be fine. Disney has lost loads as well, not just gaming, but all of their stuff, but they can still post huge profits.

I don't understand how all these media companies can continue when they seem to fail to meet sales. Blizzard is another, that's like 10 years of relative failure compared to the size of the company, but they continue to chug along. Where is the money coming from, because I know people will say shit like blackrock or VC money, but where does that money come from. What is exactly funding all of this, because I do not see where the big cash influx is at times. I just don't know where this money is coming from, and how its ending up in the likes of blizzs hands.

UBISoft has to be aware that a large number of their games are failures, but they do not seem to change. AssCreed is not doing what it used to, Siege is dying down as it reachs the end of its lifespan, Division 1 and 2 where riddled with issues and sold far lower than they wanted. Then you have the Crew which sold ok, Crew 2 shit the bed. That snowboarding winter game, that never went anywhere. Riders Republic, the big racing game, dead on arrival. Far Cry has been doing badly for a few entries now. Watchdogs, 1 did ok, 2 did a bit worse, Legion appears to have completely failed. So my point is, how are they still even a thing, everything they touch turns to shit.

Blizzard released one of the most successful mobile games of all time. They have WoW, Overwatch was a giant hit, And they are part of Activision which owns one of the most profitable game series in all history.

You are completely delusional, bro.

Ubisoft is NOT DISNEY. And even Disney is getting fucked by their finances now.

WoWs numbers are down by a large margin from the glory days, and its been sitting low for a while now.

Overwatch came out nearly 8 years ago, and the sequel has been a failure.

Blizzard has been failing to meet targets for sales for years now, and yet they still exist. You can say Activision is propping them up, but that doesn't sound true. Bobby would not waste money on a company that shits the bed all the time, so the money has to be coming from somewhere. Not to mention, Bobby is so ruthless he threatened to kill a rape victim to keep her quiet, got exposed, and just shrugged it off. Yet Blizzard is still embroiled in legal issues.

Seriously, start looking into numbers and actual sales, a lot of these big companies are not pulling what they used to, but they continue to exist.

Jesus fucking Christ, I didn't believe you until I just looked it up. So the only nigger in all of Japan is going to blend into crowds without anyone spotting him? I legit don't understand how they could greenlight this concept. Surely at some point during the preproduction phase someone pointed out that people would want to play as a Japanese man in the samurai/ninja game set in Japan?

I would love if Japan sued Ubisoft like Egypt sued Netflix.

Watch Japanese still gobble this poz up. They're way too nice for their own good and won't care if they get mocked worldwide with a farce of a scenario like this.
Wo Long is a game set in China, or at least an oriental setting, and that game also lets you play as a nigger or even a european. It is still considered a success and I didn't see any whining about it from the slant eyes.

Aside from his exotic-as-fuck skin tone that not a single person in Japan believed could possibly be natural, Yasuke was fucking massive, the Japanese declaring that he had the strength of ten men. While that's no doubt a substantial exaggeration, to say he stood head and shoulders above the Japanese would probably be an understatement.

WoW and especially Overwatch are not as relevant as their respective heydays

I know that doesn't fully account for every last OW2 player due tot he standalone launcher and console players, but that's... awfully low. Ancient, crippled-ass TF2 currently has three times the players on Steam

These companies are sitting on stockpiles of billions of dollars. They'll coast off of that for awhile, and they've still got investors (who will no doubt become louder as they start wanting a return on their investment). I'm sure we've all heard the meme that "Nintendo could run deficits for ten years and still be fine". Its an exaggeration, but not by much, for these multibillion dollar companies.

That and you don't just immediately take a company out back and put a hole in its head when it starts underperforming. Blizzard has some of the most profitable gaming IPs on the planet and the infrastructure to make them. Killing them would also be horrible PR. You don't amputate a limb the second it starts bleeding, you treat the wound.

They actually got into 2010 pretty strong with the Rayman reboot, ACII/Black Flag, South Park game, Red Steel, and Far(t) Cry 3. They went to shit with the launch of PS4 and the Xbox One like every other company.
What the fuck when those two consoles launched in 2014 that made the entire industry gay?

The fuck caused that rush of players?
The complete absence of anything else remotely like it that's worth playing.

Snark aside, wasn't that around the time the Microsoft/Activision/Blizzard/Globochem purchase was approved and executed? A good number of people probably started branching out a bit to see what else might scratch their Overwatch itch just in case OW2 somehow gets even worse under MS' leadership than it already is.

I think HiRez is kept alive with the promise that the OW2 failing would mean Paladins would rise up and actually earn a large chunk of change. Shame as I preferred it over the shitty OW game. Oh well, like Smite it will grind into nothingness.
