Is Deltarune worth playing?
I played Undertale relatively recently (pacifist run only) and didn't hate it. It's not bad and the tumblrshit diversity while slightly annoying wasn't bad enough to make me hate it.
The music and humor was pretty good

I didn't attack a single "enemy" in the whole game, idk which one that is. I fought the big stupid clip art enemy boss at the end.

I'd say it's an improvement over UT. Has better music, more of an interesting (albeit unfinished) plot, improved battle mechanics and even though there are a few elements that SJWs latch onto like pubic lice it's very apparent Toby's using them to flesh out characters rather than as a mouthpiece for his opinions. Avoid the fandom though - especially the ones obsessed with Chapter 2 (and to be frank those "fans" don't give a shit about anything other than a certain section of CH2) and you'll be fine.
Speaking of degens, wtf happened to /utg/ on 4chan? Hadn't visited it in a long time and I was taken aback when I saw that it's mostly dominated by some retard obsessed with shitting and Berdly, speds wanting to fuck goats, that one female autist who thinks Spade King is her husband and chimps out when she sees art of him with Queen and anons unironically getting other anons banned for poking fun at troons.
That's not the end. Go back into the game and head back to MTT Hotel via the Core. Then prepare yourself for the most... interesting part of Undertale.

I've accidentally stumbled into one of those "memes and Toby fox music" videos on YouTube and the stuff I heard that was from Deltarune was pretty ok (I liked spamton theme, neat stuff).

That's neutral pacifist. I would recommend you to load your save file and complete the game as true pacifist. True Lab is neat.

Yeah, Deltarune's okay. The first chapter is better than the second, because you can see the writing quality tumblring downhill the whole way through chapter 2. It's free and it's worth a look if you're curious.

I always assumed that Kris going to a church for a monster religion would be a big deal but considering that the overworld was designed to be entirely human at one point, maybe not. This was based on the minister describing the burial process for monsters ...which is strange because the game also seems to imply that Monsters now bleed.
My (disappointing) theory is that all the depraved bullshit you do is ultimately nullified by the ending. Or, the "single ending" is a comment on how - regardless of your actions - you'll still stop playing at some point. Either by design or through boredom. Presumably by your soul being removed from a controllable entity.
The "normal" undertale general is /sus/ on /trash/ but that's the weird board so watch out!

Depends, are you willing to consume something divided in multiple chapters when only two are out, the next two will come out next year (maybe) and the rest is in "it will be done when it's done (and that's how we like it)" time?
I've already hitched myself to the ride, but I'd suggest waiting for the whole thing to be done. For all we know chapter 4 could be absolute shit and ruin everything a year from now and suddenly it's a waste of time.
Also, like other posters told you, finish the true pacifist ending on Undertale.

there's your problem. At this point it's only good for skimming the OPs for recent news on your game of choice every now and then. The infrequent discussion threads of certain games on /v/ are always better and comfier than their /vg/ equivalents—the Deltarune Chapter 2 threads on /v/ when it released were a fucking experience, and the only time I got an experience anywhere close to that on /vg/ is last summer on /sthg/, and it required multiple multimedia releases, big news about the upcoming game, and a sudden wave of shitposting about a kojima-tier fake leak to all converge at the same time just to get on that level.
/v/ may be full of shitposting but at least every thread isn't filled with drama vagueposting about discord servers and users that only have a 50% chance of even actually existing.
