So the simplest explanation that makes sense is that the dark worlds are a literal dark reflection of the areas they inhabit. Think of Hometown as an overworld map in an RPG, and every building is a potential location in it. Ramb is from the cyber world because that would be the cyber world of hometown, it's just the place he'd best fit.

I do not know about that. Toby has always had a fairly dedicated chan/based/chud following since the earliest days of Undertale. I remember back when it was just a demo and just barely getting started /v/ was one of the most enthusiastic and dedicated places to find content for the game before it even released.

Agreed. Given the online ecosystems he was hanging in early on, seems like he probably got a good read on how to play chameleon. Even moreso when Undertale's fanbase and what not began to grow. He also seems like he knows how to stealthily take the piss, especially with the song he made for Pokemon Sword & Shield.

Honestly, the only actually "good" people in Undertale you can count on one hand. Asriel (Obviously not as Flowey), Asgore, Papyrus, Monster Kid, and debatably Undyne (sure she's a dyke that's trying to kill a kid, but she's doing it because she genuinely believes you are a threat. (You are literally the biggest potential threat in existence))

This is the unfortunate reality of working in the games industry in general, regardless of role. Being a headliner name would make it much worse but I've seen even small names eat shit for stuff they've said that's been interpreted as against the narrative. I can absolutely see why he talks in the stilted way he does on twitter, if you want a better look at how he communicates outside of social media check this out.
