Undertale has a bit more of a nostalgia factor since it’s approaching a decade old, but Deltarune has plenty of great songs as well. I still need to really dig into Chapter 3+4’s soundtrack, I haven’t listened to it much beyond playing the game itself.

Having advanced in ch 4 to where you first meet Gerson…yeah, Ralsei is very clearly hiding something. Also kinda treated Susie a little bit like shit there at the beginning. Probably supports the “real” Kris and not the soul-controllled one.

One of my favorites so far is "GUARDIAN" which is the titans boss theme. The guitar riff at 0:55 that leads into the fast leitmotif at 1:04 always gets me. Its so fucking good.

You know, I just realized that the Knight could very well be both a Darkner (possibly the same as Gerson if they really are Dess somehow) and also be active in the Light World.
Spamton seemed pretty confident that the Soul would let him into "Heaven" (The Light World).

My theory that Kris has the Vessel's soul (or just a soul that isn't their own) and the Knight is the darkworld counterpart of a dead Dess that was given Kris' soul to survive outside of it.
This also goes a ways in explaining just why Kris was so shaken up about the whole encounter with Spamton NEO, if they'd gone through something similar in the past.

Could also be related to this. Thanks to Ramb we know at least up till Chapter 3 almost everything we've experienced has some roots in Kris's imagination and childhood. I'd argue Chapter 4 has roots there but it's a bit more subtle about it, stuff like the Cuptains nod towards it..

Chapter 3 in general has given us a lot to chew on. I'm still contemplating the S-Rank game, the amount of weird implications it could possibly have is staggering, but the difficulty in it is picking out what's meant to be read as literal or not—It can range from "this is nothing don't think too hard" all the way to "There's some insane circular meta stuff going on here".

Maybe the human-monster war led to a gastocaust caused by asgore leading into the monsters being locked away into the undertale cave as a result. Thus W.D gaster planned to subvert the monster world by forcing human-monster mixxing and bringing about the end of the world for the humans for not saving his chosen people!
