I personally think Black Dog is Zeppelin's best. It just feels like it conveys feelings of spontaneity so well.

And I don't get why that Frozen song, "Let It Go" or whatever it's called, is so popular...

I dislike Morrissey. The Smiths are good, Morrissey solo and as a person is not very good.
He's a racist, selfish idiot.
Like when I was at his book signing last year. People had been in line forever. Morrissey closes after 2 hours of signing. The line was not that long, it would've taken him like 30-45 minutes to do the last ones quickly. It was heartbreaking to see how he just walked away, because the girl who was next in line had traveled from England (This was in Sweden) and the two behind her had traveled from San Francisco. I gave them my book with the signature, as it wasn't a huge deal to me, I live nearby.

I love The Smiths but Morrissey is an asshole. I like some of his solo stuff though.

I like Johnny Marr better.

A lot of people give me shit for not being a fan of the Beatles. My lack of familiarity with groups like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd tends to elicit similar reactions. My tastes are wide and varied but tend to fall toward hidden jewels (that is, less popular, relatively unknown music).

Relax. The Beatles suck, and Led Zeppelin reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally fucking sucks. I can acknowledge that they revolutionized the genre of Rock and still to this day have a massive impact on popular music, but honestly, The Beatles only had like, three good songs. There's, however, nothing good at all to say about Led Zeppelin, except for the fact that they were a generic rock band that paved the way for other generic rock bands to be as generic and bland as possible (see: Nickelback).

Some Zeppelin's ok....I just don't think the reaction that so many people give them (that is, the worship of them) is justified.

I like how you didn't comment on his not being a fan of Pink Floyd, and rightfully so considering they're one of the best bands in the history of ever.

Oh, I actually don't mind Pink Floyd at all. They have a special place in my heart because my dad was a big fan, so growing up, we listened to a lot of Pink Floyd. It's kind of like how I can't hate the Cowboys or like the Spurs. He was even bigger on Bob Dylan, so there's absolutely no way I can say anything negative about him without hating myself.
 
What little I have heard of Zeppelin and Floyd I really don't mind (I enjoyed most of Dark Side of the Moon, although I was sober while listening to it).

I do detest the sound of Bob Dylan's voice although I admire him as a poet (he is relevant to my current musicological studies so I have to listen to him on occasion).

How many more trillion-bazillion times does John Meyer need to say "Say what you need to say?" anyway?

Same with Rihanna. With her dry voice going "We found laawww-v en a haaaaaaawples place" 60 zillion times.

Prehispanic folk metal sucks.
first it might have a little bit of aztec feel, then it degrades into shitty death metal.
I've found a few gems, but they only last good for like a few minutes.

I gotta say, Led Zep and The Beatles are easily the absolute most overrated rock bands to ever exist. LZ in particular. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SONG on their first album is a total ripoff of another song. See here:

Led Zep is a band I have a real personal hatred for. They, more than anyone else, made being white trash "cool". Actaully just about any baby boomer band from the 60s and 70s is pretty terrible. Only Blue Oyster Cult and Pink Floyd are any good.

It's funny because I've found alot of music that I really like by researching plagiarism in songs I like
