The Switch uses an Nvidia chipset. The best part about AMD updating/integrating their libraries is that it will benefit the Switch.
Which is why it is neat that it still works. Nintendo Switch Sports is supposed to be the first game to feature the AMD tech. The Switch uses an Nvidia chipset.
While true, AMD doesn't gate technologies arbitrarily unlike nShidia. The Switch uses an Nvidia chipset.
Yeah. Forgot that. Thanks for the correction.
not much different than nvidia where drivers suddenly run like ass, you have to backdate driver for certain games and if you don't get the latest one for nvidia optimiziationsⒸ there's a good chance will run like shit, look like shit or both.I really want to like AMD's GPUs but always seem to have weird issues with their stuff.![]()
Except for one build when CrossfireX came out, I've always used Nvidia GPUs and have never had any of those problems. And make no mistake, my experience with AMD (maybe they were still ATI at the time) was just fine. It just happened to be noticeably more rocky than my experience with Nvidia. I think by and large most of the problems are overstated and end up representing a very very small, but vocal group.not much different than nvidia where drivers suddenly run like ass, you have to backdate driver for certain games and if you don't get the latest one for nvidia optimiziationsⒸ there's a good chance will run like shit, look like shit or both.
