Honestly that pride flag talk page post feels so fake it's not even funny. Like it's legitimately coming off as being so praising in such a way that it feels fake and not even remotely genuine. But I can't fucking tell with these people since they're basically mentally deranged enough in the first place.
Also, I went to go refresh myself on this thread, and it looks like Jo Li (who I covered in my first post) seems to have deleted or privatized all their socials I had found. Make of that as you will, but I've also heard about this weeks ago in a random Discord server, but didn't bother checking it out until now, where almost everything is gone. Not sure what that's all about.
Edit: Keep in mind this is still recent, and not like a response to them starting shit on TCRF or whatever. But it does seem related, if not directly and... a month later?

This is one of the most benign uses of modern AI I can imagine. I can understand the ethical problems with AI art, but using ChatGPT to, say, generate a summary of something that happens to incorporate information from TCRF is perfectly harmless as long as it’s properly attributed. I really want to know why X seems to hate that idea so much.

I do think the initial reason for wanting to block AI scrapers is genuine. I've heard and witnessed AI scrapers absolutely more or less DDoS entire sites because of how they simply do not respect things like robots.txt or just mass request pages like mad, so having multiples of those come in and essentially suffocate the website is... kind of shit, honestly. Now in his defense he kinda outlined this in his post about TCRF getting DDoSed, but he didn't really give it the full in depth essay.
That said though, I think it's one thing to validly block bots for the sake of "my site is going to get borderline DDoSed if they access this", but it's a completely different ball game where you instead maliciously respond. Or in other words, this retard is needlessly being aggressive once again and deserves a pretty solid ego check, and ideally more than just once at that. You can block AI requests without being a shitter, but I don't think that's in his own programming.
edit: I'm also convinced that because it's related to "AI" it triggers that specific unfathomably retarded and exaggerated sperg hate tons of these retards have about AI stuff. To be fair I get the concern, but the way they behave about it is like a switch flipped and they act like rabid dogs about it. And quite frankly like a rabid dog I'd like to put them down.

AI = Le Bad is the easiest ticket to receiving asspats, the rest is just him gooning his ego off at the mere thought of blocking access to even more people (even if they're just bots).
I wouldn't be surprised if this dude made a habit out of looking at his site's access logs like a creepy sperg. The KF arc hasn't helped either.

A typical XML export of the current version only of a page is likely 3KB or thereabouts. It's a tiny little snippet of pure text. It has to be generated but that is very light - a fairly trivial DB read and a sliver of PHP. I don't know what rate requests from ChatGPT or whatever were coming in but it's not going to be comparable to a DDoS attack.

Anubis kinda forces you to disable NoScript and comes with a tranny catgirl image on the screen, making it the perfect fit for a site like TCRF where actual game content takes a back seat.
Anyways, he wouldn't use it because he likes the power tripping feeling of blocking all these IPs then posting "muh site was ddossed". At least that's my idea.

The reason they get pissy about this is because people with low standards (i.e. people who just want to get off) are not picky about the workmanship of the pornographic content they consume. They are willing to look at the lowest common denominator "art" as long as it gets them off. A lot of the artists bitching about AI art are the ones who to some degree acknowledge their skills are dog shit and they only have an audience because of the "lowest common denominator" thing, which AI is encroaching on. This worries them because their gravy train's end is in sight and always approaching. The majority of the people who consume their slop content are not loyal to them because they like their art, only that the stuff those artists make makes their dick hard. They will gladly go someplace else even if that "someplace else" is an AI factory.
The furry artists (and, by extension, content creators in a broad sense) who don't care in the slightest about AI are the ones who are so well trained and talented that they have a unique "look" or a tone/voice/whatever in the content they make that AI cannot seem to replicate as of yet. These are the creators people flock to because they like what that creator does specifically, they are a specialty service in other words.
Anyone seriously up in arms about AI only does so because A) they've been brainwashed by the scaremongering of people in category B, which is B) people who 100% know their days are numbered because they have zero talent and AI will eventually consume their audience by virtue of output alone.
