Bought New World but already put in a request for refund, total woke garbage. You can't even select sex, just body type. That's a woman with a beard btw.

I got a PS1 that was a junker so I can play around with hard and softmodding it since the laser was screwed. The seller included all the paperwork and stuff, and what comes taped in the paperwork with it was a black and white CD sleeve that includes a demo disc.

I fire it up and it's all the original playstation tech demos including the t-rex one, put it in my PC CD drive to further check it and it has Korn on it.

A real oddity of a find, I thought only the euro discs had the tech demos on them.

I might but I'm making sure there's no actual copy protection or shit that may fuck it up. I know Saturn shit to get a proper .iso you had to have the disc be spinning at a specific speed. Early PS1 discs were not quite standardized yet and there were some games that were format oddballs. PS2 had similar games like that as well, early PS2 games had quite a few titles that were not on a regular DVD format.

There's not a whole lot of documentation, and there's been a rekindled interest in demo discs since the Doom exploit was found about a month or so ago. And that was something that Carmack wasn't even aware of that existed. It looks like the disc was something you got from a few limited locations by pre-ordering, but it was not a routine pack-in.

It kind of says a lot that these games are still successful in their own right, while we still ponder how Naughty Dog made The Last of Us Part II and Insomniac Games is still cashing in on the Ratchet & Clank series, yet not giving us another Spyro sequel of some sort.

Instead, all they gave their fans are Spider-Man series sequels.

Spyro is owned by Activision. Everything related to activision is currently in Limbo due to the large lawsuit and the fact that many of their studios can't put out games by themselves like Blizzard.

Thoughts? I can't say I'm on board with this decision (wonder if the hype behind Ragnarok has anything to do with the results). It could also just be me and my annoyance with that game's fanboys as well (seriously, they are some of the most obnoxious ones I've encountered, and the tweet replies only further my dislike).

It's like trying to name the best book of all time or the best song of all time. There are too many choices and taste is too subjective for there to realistically be a selection which will appease all, or even a plurality, of people, I think.

I still have the Digipack version of that disc in pretty decent condition. T-Rex and manta ray, plus trailers and demos.

There are more demo discs in my old boxes, I signed up for some Sony crap back in the day and they just kept mailing them to me.

It was voted on by the users and general audience, not the staff themselves. And judging by the comments, they truly unironically consider it to be the greatest game of all time and completely flawless, while other games considered classics are outdated compared to it.

God of War 2018 is within the same genre as Zelda.

Only it looks like it's getting more than 1 new release every generation.
