Anyone knows relatively new games without any woke shit? Just uninstalled and refunded 3rd game in a row that "graced" me with a sudden faggotry out of nowhere, this time it was Chorus (already a bad title, trust g*rms to fuck up space sim controls established over 3 decades of gaming), where a female NPC said that "her wife" was a chief of security or something. Game already had plenty of niggers and race traitors, and a goblinoid mutt looking female lead with questionable dialogue choices (thinking to herself was voiced as whispering, further proving that for a g*rm it's impossible to comprehend how inside voice feels like).

I'm so sick of this shit being present anywhere that I want to play something like Gothic 3, with no faggots, no dykes, no troons, no agenda pushing, no feminazi themes (there are only 2 female NPCs you can talk to, both sex slaves that you have to buy and lead to their new owners), no niggers you have to interact with (except two felons from previous games, well established characters, not diversity checkmarks).

Any genre with RPG elements is fine, I'm unfortunately not autistic enough for grand strategies and not retarded enough for sport games.

Have you tried not obsessing over political bullshit and just enjoy things?

Pretty difficult to do it when I'm told to peddle love letters between two sodomite cowboys like in Weird West.
Yeah thats pretty much the state of modern gaming, now. AAA titles at least. Thats at least partially why I've been waxin nostalgic about retrogaming. But, then again, you also sound like you would shit on anything less than 1080p 60fps titz&glitz, so I don't think retrogaming would be for you. VGA is 640x480, and brother, you probably don't even wanna know what EGA/CGA looked like. Its a shame, there's gold in dem dere hills.

My nigger, I'm old enough to have been recording on cassette tapes pirated games broadcasted on radio. I'm asking for newer titles because I've pretty much played everything good released before 2016 or so.

And it's not just AAA titles that are pozzed, at this time woke shit and AAA games are synonymous. I'm just surprised that little shitty devs are trying to score diversity points like that. Said fag cowboys for example - NOTHING about them implied they're faggots (game's setting is stereotypical western with some fantasy elements), in fact both of them are just gruff mobsters, but then you suddenly get a side quest where one of them professes his gay love towards the other. Not to mention the sheriff of the first town you visit is a female nigger, and later on she starts talking about how difficult it is to be a nigger waman sheriff (it's unskippable, since she's a part of main quest).

My doubt intensifies. Maybe you need to expand your horizons, or try some new genres, but even sticking to one genre, no sir, you most likely did not. I don't think even the NEETiest shutin has that much free time. People tend to overuse hyperbolic language nowadays.

Broaden your horizons with new genres or franchises, or simply find a new hobby. The Rot may be too far for you to find joy here, from the sounds of it, because you sound (not entirely unjustifiably) terminally pissed off over it. And I'm not tryin to shit on ya, because I get it, too. I haven't spent more than 100 bucks in the last two years on games, and those were niche indie games. I had buyers remorse on most of those, too.

I have some time right now and I'd like to play some games, what's weird about that. Sport and grand strategies are pretty much the only genres I don't play, I can't even imagine where I'd find enjoyment in either. I treat games as escapism tools, I don't want to be reminded of current state of the society and woke trends rotting it from within. Don't have time for my other hobbies right now, since area where I live is past harvest season.

I edited in a bit more after the quote, but I DO get it, I'm just not really sure there is gonna be any answer to satisfy you. I haven't found one that satisfies me. I've been getting into the "comfy gaming/autism simulator" genres lately, which aren't my normal wheelhouse, but I've found it pretty decent, new and different. I can suggest a few I've enjoyed you may have missed. Not all of them are newer, as I've an extensive "backlog", but they've been where my gaming has been lately. I don't know what to suggest, because you haven't given any indication what you enjoy, just what you don't, but here goes:

Sailwind (fuck me this game is def cozy, but the needs system can be pretty demanding)
Transport Fever I/II. Kind of a modern TTD, pretty comfy setting up all the logistics, and gives a bit of the SimCity vibes to me.
Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts, Naval wargaming is an old passion of mine
Victory at Sea: Pacific - ditto
Cold Waters - ditto
U-BOAT - seeing any patterns?
RimWorld - if you dont know rimworld by now, I dont even know what to say
Dysmantle - sometimes I still need to destroy things in games, too.

I've tried a few of the vehicular "autism simulators", like Train Sim World and SnowRunner, but I'm not sure those are for me. Well, I liked SnowRunner, but the train sim was boring to me. I guess Sailwind would be one of those, too, come to think.

I, myself, miss big open world epic games you can lose yourself in. I spent soooo much time in the Mojave, but there will never be another New Vegas. The GTA series were decent open worlds, but 5 is probably the last I'll play of them. Elder Scrolls is goin pozzed, too. Borderlands always was, and I didn't care for it. Mass Effect started good, got even better with 2, but then we all know how it went, but I still bought the legendary edition.

I played Dysmantle and enjoyed it greatly, I heard devs are making next game with more or less the same shtick, so I'm eagerly awaiting it. Rimworld is like Dwarf Fortress with lower autism entry requirement, gotta try that finally, but I have a sneaking suspicion it's going to require dozens of hours to really get going.
What you call autism sims I call german gaming, I tried some of it but it's mostly throwing gang signs on your keyboard to get shit moving the way you need it. My only experience with "naval" games are two old titles - Admiral: Sea Battles and Ancient Conquest: Quest for the Golden Fleece, both strategies. I feel like real time genre is a pipeline to being addicted to War Thunder, I want to avoid further addiction to games if possible.

I've been trying to get into some of 2D souls-likes myself, so far the only one I tolerated was There Is No Light. The plot and setting are predictable - bleak, hopeless, extremely pretentious and loldeep lore and dialogues, but the gameplay loop and visuals are solid.

When it comes to Redditlands, I feel like the first game was just right - it had juvenile humor, but it was dark humor, none of this soy shit present in following titles. iirc the only faggot present there - Mister Shank - was a caricature and his infatuation with fellow inmate was a point of ridicule, as it should have been.

I'm not a big fan of 3D fallout titles, I feel like the franchise lost some of its charm after abandoning the 2D isometric setting (then again seeing how my favorite part was Fallout Tactics, my taste just might be shit). Same deal with Baldur's Gate, though it has more to do with becoming outright turn based in 3rd iteration, instead of faux real time. Well, that, and the fact that 3rd game is just coomer content.

When it comes to open world series, I've surprised myself with how much I've enjoyed LoZ BotW and ToTK (emulated of course). I don't care much for the plot, but it's good old jap game design, with attention to details and amazing sound design. Reminds me a lot of Divinity 2: DKS with how the atmosphere of the place is built with color hues and sound cues. I'd give them a go if you aren't opposed to emulation.

You say potato, I say potahto. I'm not sure if those wacky fritz invented the genre, but they sure as hell ran with it. Garbage Truck Simulator? Ja! Street Sweeper Simulator? Ja, Ja! Gas Station Simulator? JA JA JA! I don't know what's going on in Germany that would cause this, and I don't want to know. I tend to avoid those especially saurkraut-smelling ones, myself. Also, hellooooo random.txt.

Truer words have never been spoken, but Fallout Tactics was kinda shit, before 3d was even a thought. But New Vegas did just have that special something, at least to me, that came close to the Fallout1/2. Fallout 3 was okay, but nothing to get excited about.

Baldur's Gate 1&2 were fantastic, as was Icewind Dale1/2. 3 is hot garbage, though. Hell, all of the old Infinity Engine games were great. Planescape Torment was certainly a damn fine game. I still have NeverWinter Nights in my damned backlog, and I should give it a go, but that was after the switch to Aurora engine. It was a damn fine game engine, too. KotOR and Jade Empire were really good games.

I never got into Zelda after SNES era. I switched to PS/PC in the 32 bit era, and haven't bought a console since the PS2. I know there are a fuck ton of great games I've missed, there. I've emulated a damn lot, though, but nothing much newer than 64/PS1. Also, hello Amiga Emulation, I will love you forever, you soothe my wounded soul after my A600 gave up the ghost years ago. I have a feeling you would have fit in just fine at the old (sadly long defunct) UnderGround Gamer bittorrent tracker. I was mistaken in your appreciation of older games, and I'm sorry bout that.

Since you were playing Chorus I never noticed anything in Everspace 2. Just a white dude bouncing around the universe filled with a even mix of other types of humans and aliens.

Since I'm in the nostalgia game mode, and we're on space games now, I'm gonna lament that there will never be another Freelancer. The X series is kinda close, yet also miles away. Everspace and Everspace 2 are still in my backlog, too. Also, anyone have any recommendations for something with Escape Velocity Nova vibes? Saw a game named Gaia that looks kinda close. I found Star Valor to be okay, but not what I wanted, but it's still EA and may have promise.

>sell an item on Steam Community Market for 1 cent
>On hold: $0.01

I know that "hold" is implemented to stop money laundering, but this is fucking retarded.

Star Control
Oh god, completely forgot about that one.

You know Starfleet 2? You're basically a TOS non-klingon, doing non-klingon things. Game came with a HUGE manual which was pretty much a must-read since the ASCII interface would not tell a lot. It had everything from playing space pirates, to fleet management, to planetary invasion. I'm amazed there's no modern game that did all that game does. (no BC3000AD doesn't count)

I have an old MediaGX industrial computer. Bit bigger than a Rasperry Pi, about the performance of a later mid-range Pentium MMX, with inbuilt graphics and OPL3 sound. One of the earliest x86 SoCs. Normally that's my goto but I need a new power supply. That said, 286/386 era computers make more sense, as that is where all the speed sensitive games lie. But yeah, dosbox is easier. Also supports fluidsynth/munt (if the latter is still a thing). Ideally you'd need a row of old PCs to cover the late 80s and 90s.

EDIT: Whoops, accidentally half the post

I do. I have a bunch of old DOS and win3.11 knock off unlicensed trek games. Starfleet 2 and EGA Trek being my favorites, though I haven't even thought of them in years. Theyre still floating around on one of my NASs or backup drives, I hope. There was another, actually a modular game system of like 4 different interconnecting modules, but I can't remember the names. The interface was a knock off of trek's LCARS but was called something else, LYCRA or LYCARS or something, but one module was ship combat and exploration, another was boarding ships and troop combat. Was really good. I'll have to look at my archives, cause it's gonna drive me nuts.

I've played through most of the licensed trek games, too, even old obscure shit like Starship Creator and it's expansions and sequel. Or ST:Borg, which sucked but had John DeLancie reprise his role as Q, so was worth it.
I even still play BotF occasionally

Battlecruiser was an lolcow of a game made by an lolcow of a man that was never going to be what it promised.

Yup, loved that one, one of the reasons why I picked up Chorus - I wanted more space fighting.
Try Wartales. No niggers, no troons, and as far as I know not even any homos in it. No romance for your party at all (except characters YOU make can become identified as engaged/married - but there's no dialogue, just a stat boost, and you can choose not to do it (I don't think the game even checks for sex, just two characters have been sitting next ot each other in camp and in fights get more friendship) also you can change the sex and appearance of your dudes whenever, if it bugs you).

Fantasy, but very low magic - just potions and some items, no spells or anything. Mostly just human or animal enemies, although there are plague-zombies around and ghost animals at night.

So it's not woke, but it's definitely autistic. They put out new content about every quarter, and I restart about every other update and it's fun as shit.

Anyone got reccomends for singleplayer games that'll last for a while but run on shit hardware? I was thinking Symphony of War or Tactics Ogre, but I'm not sute how long that'll last.
How bad hardware-wise are we talking?
On the safe side and since you mentioned Tactics Ogre, I would recommend Banner of the Maid as a turn-based statregy game and which took me a good 50~60 hours to finish (on Switch) with all the side optional levels. You play as Napoleon Bonaparte's sister, in an alternate world where certain women are given super-powered abilities and the course of the French Revolution has been altered.

Have you tried Ender Lillies by any chance? It mainly plays like a metroidvania but it has the atmosphere and world setting (decayed world) you would expect from a Souls game.

Also it's not like I do not understand your feelings regarding modern western games in general. Hence why I've been mainly focusing on Japanese and Asian games ever since then, with the occasional western indie. I'll agree with @JustSomeDong about expanding your horizons on genres and franchises, experimenting with them.

I'm still pushing through Batman Arkham Knight and while I disliked teh batmobile at first, now I really hate it.

I'm sure I'm towards the end of the game and it's just been nothing but car segments one after another.
Even if you ignore the fact that the batmobile controls like complete ass, it's gameplay is also way more limited and one dimensional than on foot gameplay.
So to focus about 60%+ of the game on it is just a strange, stupid and infuriating choice.

The batmobile just ruins the pacing for me, it feels like the game never really lets the combat or especially the predator sections breathe and be the focus.
It's a shame because I generally like the story and gameplay besides that. I haven't gotten to the reveal of who the Arkham Knight actually is yet but it seemed pretty obvious from the start and the movie studio section really spells it out for you, but it's done really well and in a fun way.

Right now I'm stuck on the tank boss and honestly that's a rare thing for me to say. I'm pretty good about not getting walled in games but the batmobile just controls so terribly and the camera shits itself so thoroughly that the "run" part of the hit and run fight is just pure suffering.
If I had to rate Arkham Knight based on my feelings at this moment and my overall experience with it, I'd honestly have to put it as the worst of the Arkham games.
It's been by far the most uneven feeling and most frustrating of the games.
