Didn't even look at at it, but it's good in my book on principle.

What's an example of nitpicking in your book anyway? I've been told I'm "nitpicky" because I don't like that Pokemon erased gendered terminology for character selection, and made half the characters ugly, gay, and black.

Saying Darkest Dungeon is woke for including female characters that aren't just healers who hide behind the men, for example.

Goes back a lot further than that. A decade and some change ago long form Dark Souls videos were getting popular. Joseph Anderson, Mauler and Hbomberguy definitely influenced that trend.

It's downright idiotic such as complaining about the existence of Japanese yuri games (Seabed, Nurse Love and Flowers listed in) or the yuri teasing in JP games (Corpse Party, Saga Frontier, etc.) which have been a thing for like forever. Many other Japanese games being categorized as "woke" are also quite dubious such as Dark Souls 2 for having a coffin before the hub area that allows to alternate the sex of the character (as a joke feature) or titles daring to have a female protagonist (Azure Strike Gunvolt 3, Ritual of the Night)

Bad translations of Japanese games are the one thing I don't let slide but that's a different topic altogether, and more precisely because I do consider linguistics to be a serious professional matter. If you don't translate things faithfully and as close as possible to the source material then we're going to have a problem.

This is why I don't like Internet political retards regardless of whichever side of the political spectrum they belong, even more so when the way they act towards foreign Japanese media is virtually the same.

They have Final Fantasy V in there as containing pro-LGBTQ+ messaging, mentioning one of the characters "regularly engages in crossdressing".

They're referring to Faris, a character you get within the first hour of the game, who almost immediately reveals that she is a woman who poses as a man, because she's a pirate captain, and her crew wouldn't respect a woman. That's inspired by a real-world 18th century pirate, Mary Read, who posed as a man. I'd link her Wikipedia article, but let's face it, an 18th century gender-bending pirate is one of those things I'd only trust pre-internet sources about.

Yeah, that list goes overboard.

That list almost seems more like an attempt to dilute the meaning of woke and discredit valid criticism if it has shit like that on there.

My thoughts when I saw it. It's too ridiculous to have been made in good faith.

I'm trying to power through Megaton Musashi Wired, but it's rough. I was excited for a mecha action game on PC, but the gameplay is so repetitive, the story is just fucking terrible, and the art style is ugly.

I hate when games don't tell you stuff. In Tokyo Xanadu I noticed there's a green exclamation mark in the Eclipse tab of the Gate Point menu by one of the entries, but the game and manual don't say what it is. I'm guessing it's side quest related but it's not specific.
 
Denuvo DRM has been removed from Jedi Survivor in a new patch that is said to clean up a lot of PC issues.

E.A removing that shit after 1.4 years after release...can't remember that happening before.

Anti-Idle: The Game a game originally created in 2009 and the original .swf file has been updated until 2020-21ish then after with a small community cresting bug fixes created enough drive to have begun beta testing and a small discord server for feedback for a port to moblie, the reason I'm posting this is because it has finally begun beta testing for mobile port after it's 15 year anniversary iirc.

Meaning this game has technically speaking been in development for over 10+ years and I personally have invested about over 100 hours already into it on pc and it's moblie port will easily add over 1000 hours for me.
