I am playing the Sly Cooper games for the first time. I'm currently in the first game and it's....not as easy as I expected? It requires a lot of timing and the controls can be slippery at times. But it is a fun game. The guy playing Sly gives Robby Benson vibes even though its not him.

Its like a mix of Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Jax, and Crash all in one platformer. It almost seems like its parodying both Lupin and Spy Hunter. Anyway, point is that it's a delightful series so far.

The 1st one is leagues harder than 2 & 3. I remember I gave up on the game as a kid and I think I didn't beat it until after 2 came out. The limited health and really unforgiving platforming at times can be a pain but the game is still solid. I think 2 was the best and 3 was a little gimmicky with all the mini games but still great. I might have to fire up PCSX2 this weekend and show my kid something better to play than fucking Roblox.

110 hours or so and I finished Super Robot Wars Y,

What a letdown.

Boring, annoying story and 90% reused assets. The first entry in the franchise that I hit the level cap in on the first playthrough, it was braindead easy. Originals were lame. Animations were cheap outside of like 3-4 units where you could see some effort was put in. The story was interesting at 2 points in the whole runtime, the very beginning and when they leaned hard into the Getter Arc plot, but everything else was awful.

The passion is gone from this franchise and has been for a long time, but it's really showing now.

What is everybody playing this weekend? I need something to kill some time so im hoping to get some ideas from you goobers
I'll be continuing my 100% run of Yakuza Kiwami, finished the game again a couple of days ago with 70% complete by the end, the last 20-30% of completion seems to be winning x amount of points in the gambling minigames, which includes roulette. :punished:

I've put off doing it for a long time because it's fans are so annoying, but I've started playing Clair Obscur Expedition 33. It's good! I enjoy the fact that because you can just parry everything if you get it down you can beat literally anything assuming you have the patience to perfect parry 100s of attacks in a row to avoid a one-shot even on expert. I beat that sheep-disguised nevron even though the area literally had a big red danger, and it only took parrying it without missing like 300 times. Then I beat all those Gestrals in the fight club (fuck Julian Tiny Head's feint punch, btw) which spiked my power uncontrollably since I probably wasn't supposed to beat them and could re-fight them for like 20K+ exp a run as well as a rare chance at dropping the up to level 19 weapon enhancers. It was funny when you have to fight weaker versions of most of them in the main story and they just got one-shotted. Interested to see where the story goes and also surprised how silly the game is, thought it was gonna be like super serious.

Now that I am making good pace in the game and though I think it's good I can now confirm without guilt - get fucked annoying Expedtion 33 fans on Twitter, it ain't got shit on Silksong!
