The dev are being dishonest by not saying that the game is historically inaccurate.
Knowing that the franchise initially tried to be 'realist' in some aspects, I find that to be subversive to say the least.
I'm pretty sure snowflakes are among the dev team just dig around twitter.

Edit: I'm referring to BFV and my initial post was just a vague request not aimed at any game in particular.

I was about to say...I know some people dislike some of Wolf 2's writing, but I kinda doubt it's hitting "female cripple in the battlefield" levels of stupidity.

There is some silliness involving extremely pregnant women on the battlefield however, as well as a couple characters that are broad tokens. Generally, I'd agree though that the game isn't SJW, it's the marketing campaign that followed that road and doing so didn't do the game any favors.

It is however a significant step down from the first game, so I hope you're prepared for that. Half price may be worth it, but I'm surprised it's only that low given that it was selling at half price within a month of being released.

I thought the games story was actually pretty funny.

Here is why I think the game failed:

The game was marketed heavily around a pretty simple message of "fuck Nazis" and I'm pretty sure the advertising team even referenced Trump in their tweets. The game came out during the early part of Trump and rightwingers/moderates/socialists were a bit annoyed about getting called Nazis all the time. This advertising alienated more right leaning and non-establishment types and to some degree took on the sjw pandering model.

Thing is, Sjws talk about games but don't buy them or only buy games they can show off and play with their friends for "nerd cred".
I say this because the game has a fat white woman (who is the daughter of the Nazi antagonist) literally slapping a stereotypical black disco queen and saying "stop calling me a fucking Nazi". This was played in a way where the player was supposed to be supportive of the white woman. There was no sjw rage about this. They clearly didn't play it or even bother to watch a letsplay.

Didn't help that the market was somehow getting flooded with spectacular AAA games.

I played through SIMULACRA with my girlfriend recently and it was pretty good until the ending.
 
Is Vampyr any good? It's a game about vampires in an non-modern day setting, so that's good. At the same time, though, it was made by the same people who made Life Is Strange, so I really don't know what to think.
 
Playing GBF and i'm suffering through grinding this goddamn event, so I decided to host the raid boss a few times for a chance to get the mats I needed so I can exchange for a weapon I wanted

1.5% chance to get the weapon I needed in the host and/or MVP chest, and I got two of them in the same raid.

The most discussed topic in Yakuza 0 Steam Page is some pissed off sonygger telling Sega to not port more Yakuza titles to the PC.., and it's gaining traction and everybody complaining about DRM, like fuck off guys I always wanted to play Yakuza on the PC!
 
I realized I have 30 bucks in my eshop acc and i'm thinking about putting in twenty more bucks to get Splatoon 2. I heard the game is amazing and an improvement over the first title ... is this true?
