Motherfucker, you're the 0.1% of the 1%. Either figure out yourself how to make your whacked out mystery meat DE shitheap run it on your own or shut the fuck up.
No.

I’m going to vent about trying to make a videogame work on the Video Game Chat thread of the Kiwi Farms and there’s nothing you can do about it.

And guess what I've been doing while you were writing an entire paragraph of autistic rage about a post from two weeks ago?

Nigger.

A decade after Ubisoft releases Far Cry 4 they put out a patch that remove the nudity from the game. No more tits and the male character gets a loin cloth so you can't see his junk anymore.

I told everyone that China getting involved in games wasn't going to be good. Looks like I was right. This is like Western woke safe horny levels of censorship.
Something I don't understand is a lot of games have the option to toggle Gore, and even arachnophobia modes, but never have an option to just turn off or skip nudity and sex scenes.

I'm browsing the Internet when I stumbled across a title called Metal Wolf Chaos. A FromSoftware Xbox exclusive where in the year 2004, you're the President of the United States in a mech fighting for American freedom against the Vice President... I think. Has anybody ever played it? If so, is it a good game? What kind of game is it?

It's not a good game but it's a fun game, there's a HD port to more modern systems a few years back. It's a mech shooter where iirc you play as the 47th president

In a wonderful stroke of irony Conan Exiles has a nudity toggle but also has multiple giant spider bosses with, to my knowledge, no arachnophobia mode.

Only mech games I've played was the Titanfall series. I'm guessing it's similar to other mech games from that era. The premise alone is selling me on the curiosity.

They changed it back and Ubisoft said they accidentally sent out the Japanese version assets.
That's what they want you to think.

I want violence and titties in my video games. God of War had it right. I want brutal violence naked women and sex.

I have no idea why there isn't an option. But these days most of the female characters are so ugly no one would care.

Play it with regular stereo, then with EAX activated and try saying that again. There's a reason the sound design still gets so much praise, it's not just "oh some sounds got muffled", the audio completely changes with that option.
Play it with an Aureal card and say that again. (please notice that sounds adhere to screen space, anything 4:3 will be weird in wider resolutions)
Creative wanted them gone for a reason.

I really don't get the love for Mullet Madjack. The writing is obnoxious, the story pointlessly edgy, and when you can disable the protagonist's voice acting with a literal character upgrade, and similarly silence his support girl...yeah, that ain't showing confidence.

I get it's probably not my thing, but I don't understand why people went nuts for it.
For me what put me off is how bad it emulates 80s and 90s anime. It's like the game was based on asking a zoomer to prompt an AI for 80s anime retrowave.

I could forgive the parties involved if the games were fresh-looking.

But finding out the new FromSoft game is ANOTHER battle royale has me unreasonably upset and annoyed beyond words. Mainly because I WAS curious and then I find out it's slop and I am very displeased with FromSoft hoping I don't notice it's slop.

Lost their balls, lost their brains, how do these clowns remember how to fucking breathe?!
If fromsoft has the balls to not makes something to pander to the Dark Souls crowd, I'll be all for it.

I remember really liking this game. Never seen anyone talk about it. That is all

The movie, while a bit of a cult classic now, was hated at release. At least in the UK. I haven't seen the film in years myself, but I remember it being a movie where everybody British acts dumb so the plot (Americans save the day) can happen. I want to say this was common in World War 2 movies of the time as well, and was mocked in the movie "Churchill: The Hollywood Years."

As for Reign of Fire. I liked the dragon and vehicle designs, and the concept of modern vehicles vs dragons is a fun one. Never played the game though.

I have it. I liked it. It's an action game that takes some amount of getting used to. If you're in the mood for some PS2 era jank and game design. It's worth a look. Get the PC port though as trying to get it for other systems used to be a hassle.

The game is hilarious. This is both a blessing and a curse. It went viral on YouTube thanks to a super best friends video, but it did mean there was enough demand for an english release of the game. It being a pre-Souls FromSoftware game makes physical copies a collectors item.

And to be clear. I like it a lot, but there will be moments where you have to hit your head against the jank. Be it dodgy level design, or a shitty boss fight. It's good when things are playing as intended, but just be aware there will be speed bumps.

I read a review for the XD remaster. There are no checkpoints for the levels. You die, restart from the beginning. I haven't heard anything about "jank," but if it's a 2004 game merely remastered, I would expect a challenge. Is it hard by design or hard by "jank?"

It's fairly normal for the time in terms of difficulty, if not a little easier, but difficult by todays standards. It's easier than armoured core and dark souls. If you can finish most games for that era on normal, you should be fine. The remaster appears to be minimal. Resolution changes, lighting got a minor tweak, but nothing stands out.

The levels are fairly short, but some can be 20 mins or so. The jank is things like running out of ammo, or starting a mission and then needing to restart to tweak a loadout, that kind of thing. The game isn't terribly long iirc.

I read "adult" manga because I want adult themes. Lots of semi-hentai type shit deal with adult problems and shortcomings of potential etc. I literally skip through the sex scenes cause they never add anything unless it's melancholy misery porn, in which case it serves a purpose.

Ironically I enjoy romance in games yet once it's LITERALLY just graphic porn, like bg3, I've no interest. Almost as if implied eroticism is better than "Now piss on her face" 'sex positivity'.

Does anyone know if there is a reliable, simple addon that allows for fully customizable hirelings in Baldurs Gate 3 yet?

EDIT: Related to my earlier post about AC Shadows, they released a patch today that added the auto road following.. shame it's after I'm already 70 hours into the game.

I have and it's pretty good. It's a very Japanese game. By that I mean goofy as shit. Japs make games like that. They often fun. Like Katamari Damacy for example.

South of Midnight just fully released and it might be worst release then Dustborn:

Oh my fucking god, this "stop motion" effect looks so fucking terrible. Ah yes, lets make the game look like it's lagging in every cutscene and then stitch that in our trailer so it looks like the FPS is constantly stuttering. Pure fucking genuineness.

Yeah, it doesn't look good at all. I wonder how much of it was stylistic reasons and how much was not being able to get the game to run well.
