I had hopes for Titan Quest 2, but dev studio too cucked out and went with "body types". That's never a good sign.

I haven't played Vampire Survivors since 2022, so I was checking out all the new content and then I learned that fat tranny fuck Jim Sterling was brought in to be involved in it...

How much do you want to bet that some shitlib is going to look at this thumbnail and screech PBG IS A FUCKING NAZI or PBG'S AN ANTI WOKE GRIFTER NOW REEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I hope a bunch do and push him in that direction lmao

I used to think Ashes of the Singularity being called "Ashes of the Benchmark" was just a meme, but after playing it for a while I can confirm it's a great benchmarking tool.
From what I've heard around Ashes of the Singularity 2 is in the works, and they've built in far more moddability than in the first one.
That was essentially the pitch of Ashes of Singularity. Never heard anyone say that the game is great but it become very popular for benchmarking.
Ashes of the Benchmark II has been announced, but with no release date yet.

Close to finishing my final run of Cyberpunk 2077. I'm an unabashed lover of the game, with 3 prior runs under my belt over the years with this being my last including all of the DLC and updates and such. Really enjoyed Phantom Liberty and am glad I picked it up.

Likely gonna focus on Gundam Breaker 4 next. Will be my first time with the franchise and I'm pretty excited.

I've money out both ears and I'm scouring the store for something worth buying. "Why not just buy 2 of the 'best' Sims dlcs and play it a bunch?", I refund it. "Why not Diablo 4? it's dirt cheap and I'd rather own it on Steam than ever install battle net again"; refunded. It's less the money and more the mental energy required to get into a game that leads me to reject it.

I say, as I'm a few hours into both Far Cry 6 and Avatar, awaiting AC Shadows to go on sale. I do enjoy my mindless slop, certainly more fun than having to relearn a whole-ass game such as Rimworld just to go "ah yes, changing these two priorities is gonna save me 6 hours in construction time".

I would say that most games badly implement ADS due to the fact it takes up almost 1/3 of your screen.
Most games implement weapon models badly because they also take up almost 1/3 of your screen. I'm not unsympathetic, though a good two thirds of the video is babble and pining that the casualized fps sphere isn't suited to his particular tastes. The games that he singled out wouldn't be good even if they had everything he wished for, or are so antithetical to the boomer shooter that they have nothing in common besides the fps part.
Also, the video is from 2022. I was gonna say shreddednerd fell off and I've seen better videos from him, but then I noticed the date.

I think I'm nearing the end of Donkey Kong Bananza, and while it's been fun, there's too many worlds I just didn't care for. I only truly enjoyed the Lagoon and Beach, the rest were serviceable or just bad (Hilltop is trash). It's also wearing thin in general at this point, I'm at Layer 1000, so basically stage 10.

In relation to the SKG thread, is there a thread to appreciate games that turned it around?
Returned to "Wasted" which was one of those early Adult Swim project games.
For years it was left in a slightly broken state until this time last year where Warner Bros got in a kerfuffle about games that were their IP but didn't care about.
Dev worked it out with them to retain access to the game and reworked the codebase to move to a client based cycle rather than server based and removed a lot of 24hr requirements that artificially inflated the game's popularity.
