I'm a little surprised there's not one mention of 2hu here considering there's a whole lot of these characters to pick from. Ironically, none of them are good enough for wife material, as they're all a bunch of pricks in their own way. Comes with the territory of being based off of fairy-tale creatures from pre-Meiji Japan.

Of course, if this downside (or perhaps an upside for those crazy enough) wasn't in the cards, Momiji is it for me. Compared to the rest of the colorful cast we know about, I like this one the most.

I can think of someone who'd be good wife material, and that's someone who was literally a wife:

You can't tell me that a woman who swore revenge against her cheating husband and the harlot he ran off with because they killed her son would be a bad homemaker. Hell, even the fans seem to portray her as someone protective of kids. So you'd basically be getting a woman who'd make anyone regret the day they fucked with your kids. This one, Awakening, is a great one to start with. Easy and beginner friendly, not too complex of a plot, fun characters with hidden depths, and you don’t have to know any series lore like you would something like Engage. Don’t start with Three Houses, its gameplay style hews closer to Persona life sim elements with the tactical battles being spread out and downplayed.

Best Fire Emblem, and perfect starting point, is Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.

Too esoteric for a new player, he’s never gonna figure out biorhythm. Even I don’t understand biorhythm. Plus it’s a bitch to find legally unless he has a Switch 2 and the NSO expansion, and it sort of obligates you to play Radiant Dawn afterwards, which sucks.

The first game is one of the weakest entries in the series, but I liked some of the cases. The second one is fucking amazing. Several of my favorite cases of all time are in that one.
