Does Twitch even have a list of words considered slurs that you can't say on stream posted anywhere on their site? Or are streamers just supposed to assume any niche word might get them labelled bigots by one or two uptight mods and snitch chatmembers?

Anyone else wish a Vinny/Joel stream like this would be possible nowadays? Just Joel or Vinny loading up a random ass community server and messing with people?
The russian Joel stream and the Vinny DarkRP streams are among my favorite Vinesauce content ever. It's so great seeing them just freak out a bunch of strangers with their antics.

I get why they can't do it; some autismo could join the same server they're in, find them, scream a bunch of slurs and get the channel banned (great policy, twitch), but it would be incredible if it wasn't like that. I want to see Vinny join a public VRChat lobby and just see what happens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upArbS2q6cc

It would be more chaos than Second Life considering people have avatars that can immediately hijack your screen with effects and in a VR headset, I would imagine it would be vomit inducing. From what I know he's been to public lobbies on his own, just not on stream. He's probably had his fill of them already.

I do miss the old Ralph streams when he would mess with randos and typical furry shenanigans on Second Life, but that was back when his audience was smaller as well.
I think even if he ended up going to a streaming platform that wasn't as strict on the content shown, he probably wouldnt spend too long in the public lobbies given how overwhelming they could get.

Apparently there was doom music playing at this part too.
What's more is he's playing with the Ted Woolsey Uncensored patch. I was ready to be disappointed when I saw him playing Vanilla FF3 and was pleasantly surprised.
I haven't watched the entire stream yet, only dropped in near the end as it was live, and when I went to the youtube comments to see what version he was playing I was kinda surprised to see people shitting on the GBA version so much since I always thought it'd be the more updated and uncensored version without the ugly sprites of the steam port. Though then I looked it up on the final fantasy wiki and apparently it does still have censorship in some places which I never knew.

Not as long as the Patriot Act exists and anyone can cut off money from upstarts just by claiming they’re all nazis planning white terrorism or some shit. Not to mention every payment processor already has cold feed over booba even if it’s 100% legal, but a part of me also blames the fact that anyone can lie about their age and see tits when they’re not “supposed to”, and we’ve already seen something similar to this with YouTube removing data collecting features on “kid demographic” videos so the government and COPPA don’t get on their ass. The only solution I can see to ease concerns on that front is making some kind of draconian internet license law which I’m sure literally no one wants.
the patriot act was recently reepaled apparantly??? not sure how that shit works and too lazy to look it up
Shit like this is why Vinny's chat is a mental hospital.
this is probably a necro but he did jokingly ask for essays in the fullsauce comments
What's the deal with chat's obsession with bugsnax anyways?
"It's so serious wow"
"It's fucked up body horror"
It's not at all, is this just astroturf advertising or something? Pretty sure there's been scooby-doo episodes with about the same level of "seriousness" as any conversation in that game. Chat reactions during these streams are consistently unbearable as they remind me how many people have obviously regressed to mentally being children again.
/v/ shitposting went full force the moemnt that game was revealed to the world, with a lot of the body horror theories intitally just being jokes.
no one suspected them to be 95% true

Second Life as a whole is a lot more stable since you don't really have to worry about people messing with you. You can even avoid the "stranger" areas by adjusting the ratings. From what I've heard VR Chat is a lot more restrictive when it comes to what you can actually do/create.

However, Twitch doesn't allow SL to be streamed on their platform due to the "adult" nature of it. YouTube on the other hand allows SL content even if it's kind of lewd (the most I've seen is some female presenting nipples). I'd imagine he can record something and upload it onto YouTube later.

I'm watching his playthrough of Chrono Cross and have like, 4 parts left. I've completely forgotten what the main story even is and am glad I never played it.

Watching the Flash game stream from last night, how the hell does Vinny not know about Katawa Shoujo, considering where vinesauce got its start? It's possible he forgot about it, or that he didn't wanna reveal his powerlevel, but it surprised me nonetheless.
How did Vinesauce get it's start with Katawa Shoujo? I thought all of his early stuff was lost.

Shesez got banned for saying mongoloid.
Vinny did an amusing nudge-wink at this when talking about Devo during this Hyrule Warriors stream: (20:10)

The song he's quoting lyrics from here is "Mongoloid" and specifically telling chat he's not saying it on Twitch, 2 days after Shesez got suspended. It's amusing seeing him poking fun at that and then getting slammed for titty that same week.

He didn't stream it or anything, but he got his start on /v/ and KS was all fucking over /v/ like a disease, so you'd think he'd recall it.

The list of music Vinny can play during BRBs may be getting shorter and shorter.

Also, Nintendo needs to fucking chill. Just because you have the legal right to do something doesn't mean you necessarily should. In this case, its especially bullshit because Nintendo usually doesn't publish their own soundtracks online. Youtube is one of the only ways to hear them outside of downloading the mp3s yourself or owning the soundtrack CD.

Its renewed, every couple of years they ask the current president if its cool to keep it going, if they say yes then its renewed for a couple of years, if they say no then that's as far as it goes and is no longer valid, Trump said no, but Biden can just as easily say "put that shit back on" and be applied again (assuming this clownfiesta of an election favors him at the end anytime soon), unless this was a uniparty move and they no longer need it, which i doubt because they would be destroying the eye of their own surveillance state. I find it more likely that this is just preparations for a new updated patriot act with even more draconian surveillance

It was only a matter of time, streaming (as in the twitch style of streaming) was completely reliant on mega corps not giving a fuck because the userbase and reach was so small, now that it has grown so much it made a bleep on the mega corp radar and is now being eaten alive, same thing happened to youtube and it survived only after being turned into an AD zombie that favors no one but the mega corp and twitch is already halfway there

Apparently the fact that the robinsons showed up in a mod instead of an actual game is what got Vinny banned. I was feeling bad for Vinny, but apparently Shesez (Boundry Break) got banned for a fucking week and Twitch refused to tell him anything about what got him banned. I honestly don't know why Shesez is on Twitch in the first place with a successful YouTube channel, but I'd have dipped after that bullshit.

Something very similar happened when Joel got banned by Twitch for the "Fuck You" game - to my recollection, he genuinely had no clue why he got banned and it was only after much inquiry that they finally told him. Sad to say it, but even then Joel knew that Twitch was the next wave, which is why he stayed on after that nonsense. So that's why Shesez is likely not going to call it there.

They're saying Vinesauce got its start on /v/, where Katawa Shoujo was an extremely popular game.

He definitely knows. No way in hell that someone who used /v/ regularly in the 00s doesn't know it. Hell, I only used /v/ very briefly as a kid and I know more about that game than I ever wanted to.

I honestly miss these streams more than anything. The way they used to interact with strangers was hysterical, and especially since they didn't have name recognition and could get away with it.

They COULD do this now, but it would be really difficult to orchestrate. It'd have to be like Joel's Habbo Hotel stream, where he would go to random rooms and hide waiting for people to find him. I think they could do something like that with a select few games, but it would take a lot of planning and probably not be worth it.

It's possible that Vinny knew about Katawa Shoujo back then, but since he had a different attitude towards anime (besides JRPGs), he avoided threads about it or just didn't care to look it up
