I haven't heard the rape story, but she was pretty famously the reason why the original Neon Genesis Evangelion/End of Evangelion dub was utter dogshit (she was the voice director and helped with the translation in addition to voicing Rei) and why so many faggots and Fujos flocked to the franchise to ship Kaworu and Shinji, which is why that's pretty much solely a westoid phenomenon, because she threw it in on a whim. She also added a bunch of humor. Basically Anno fucking despises her for ruining his magnum opus and anyone with an ounce of integrity feels the same. Also she's a hardcore leftist degenerate and iirc told someone to learn Japanese or kill themselves (which tbf is kinda based) because they criticized her for the shitty dub.

Now this is new. I wouldn't put it past an English speaker to misread the many ways the Japanese say "love" and "like" and blow things out of proportion such as an angel's unconditional love, but I don't see how she was actually responsible for making Kaworu/Shinji popular. Even in Japan that's a very popular yaoi ship, so it's just fujos being fujos if you ask me.

Having your house burnt in a fire is a horrible experience for anyone but if you had to pick one of the above people to suffer, who would you choose?

Bonus question: If Vic was one of the people that lost their house in a fire, how do you think the #kickvic crowd would respond on a scale of 0 to 10?

0 (gloat with glee) --- 5 (ignore/pretend it didn't happen) --- 10 (genuine thoughts and prayers)

In that case, I will go mask off and say that I have 0 sympathies for Amanda Winn-Lee. You get what you deserve and what you deserve is fire. You can't complain because I am fighting fire with fire.

Full sympathies for her tortoise though and I hope it goes to tortoise heaven.
 
Mike McFarland recently had a brain tumor and had surgery to have it removed. Various other VAs have linked a GFM to donate to his recovery.
 
Maurice Lamarche is alive but no word if his house burned. Hope for a BBQ because reasons. No word on other VAs from what I see.
 
I know Vic would probably disapprove of me saying so but, it would be rather satisfying to see DC Douglas suffer damages from this fire. He's an utterly odious person and sadly is rich and well-connected enough that he will never face consequences for it.
