I just want to know why it's only now that it's being reported on. Why'd he keep quiet about it unless there was an NDA? I feel like there's more to this than just the fact he's got Parkinson's. He's really obnoxious on his social media that I wouldn't be surprised if that's carried over into real life and someone at WB just got sick of his shit.

EDIT: I actually forgot someone said on the Tara Strong thread that Greg actually put his dog on a vegan diet (because he's vegan, too) and the dog of course died. Yeah, no sympathy for this man.

The impact of social media on how voice actors are perceived should not be underestimated. From what I've seen, Twitter VA's tend to fall under 3 distinct categories: those who politsperg a lot, those who frequently interact with the fans & shitpost, and the professionals. The first two go hand in hand, and I don't think I've ever seen any voice actor that is only the second one, without any political content. Which is a shame as I do like voice actors engaging with the fans, it's always fun. The professionals are a dime a dozen - people like Amber Lee Connors or Keith Silverstein mainly post about roles they get or conventions they're headed to. It's a real shame that this is very much required for new/less prolific voice actors to get a ground in the industry because a lot of them can be eviscerated for having wrong opinions. Just look at what happened to Dr. Ratio's VA (Jordan Paul Haro, and that guy is seriously mentally ill and needs help):

This is just sad. It's a good thing that some of the replacement VAs I've seen in Genshin are all anonymous. This seems like the right call, but I doubt it's feasible for newer ones trying to get their foot in the door and land new opportunities.
