I like how they updated to cached versions of deleted tweets but when a Kiwi does that we’re all stalkers.Vox has changed the wording of their article:
![]()
And added this addendum:
![]()
"Kiwi Farms is a website dedicated to stalking and harassing trans people."
"Stalking"
I guess using publicly available information that is almost always posted by the person in question themselves is now stalking.
"Christo claimed that My Immortal’s bad writing was intentional — thus offering a potential solution to the biggest mystery about the fic — intended to help her infiltrate the fandom community and use its resources to help her find her sibling. (Christo has not responded to a request to elaborate on this aspect of the memoir.)"
And here we have the inherent problem with the entire culture of tolerance and acceptance. Anything you say that directly confronts the presented narrative of anyone's story, claim or position is considered either Hate Speech or Harassment.
Without the social correcting mechanism of criticism and critical thinking, like a spinning top, it will soon fall over under it's own increasingly erratic spin.
Innocent people always introduce their adversaries as liars and charlatans, right? Anyone who checks the guy's thread will see that he isn't nearly as squeaky clean as he pretends to be, and he knows it.
That Vox edit is hillarious by doing the exact opposite of what these shitheads wanted.
All it does now is espouse that the farms are full of dangerous, psychotic wackos...while still citing us.
The Tumblr Truthies wanted any mention of the site to be erased entirely.
Well, it's basically a cult if we're honest. Or some really fucked up version of Scientology since they employ similar 'recruitment' tactics but Scientology itself is a cult so that's basically tautology once you leave out all the bullshit religion nonsense.
Regardless, the point is that tumblr trannies function so much like they way they do with each other, going to such lengths to protect others of their shared belief, because they want to believe it's all true. Rose wanted to fictionalize her life because that's what she actually wanted to paint her history as, all in order to get oppression and privilege points with the SJWs. But at any time, these people need to defend each other because the lies are the most important thing, the only things sustaining their belief structure that if they push it hard enough, they actually CAN all be attractive teenage girls. Or something.
Because when the inevitable crash to reality happens, they know they need to face the truth but for many, they've gone too far (such as chopping their nuts off) to ever truly get out of the illusion.
Though when conflict happens in the Rat King, it's actually pretty damn funny to see these primadonna wanna-be oppressed jackasses tear into each other.
I don't think she deserves her own thread, but since she's probably a farmer, so I figured I'd talk about the author of the article here.
Aja Romano, the author of the article that just cited us, goes by bookshop online, and has been around the Internet since the Harry Potter days, when she was sucking up to better writers. Her entire Internet footprint is honestly fairly embarrassing--when LiveJournal banned a bunch of accounts for writing incest and child porn, for example, she made a terrible video in 2007 of her attempting and failing to light her LiveJournal shirt on fire in protest. That was a long time ago so it's easy to shrug off--I mean, she got a grown-up job as a journalist, and moved on, right? Well, she's a fandom journalist, so literally all of her articles are on topics like Sherlock Holmes fanfic, or people wanting more gay sex in Teen Wolf.
Here, for example, is a ridiculous list of articles she wrote as a journalist about Teen Wolf alone.

She wrote an article in 2015 about Andrew Blake, this guy who has literally run a Harry Potter cult and a LotR cult, and he also openly admits to having committed rape, but blames it on multiple personalities. One of the people in his cults died. The article paints him in this weird romanticized way, literally calling his "endless font of creative passion." The people interviewed were incredibly unhappy with it, and there was a big mess with lots of Aja Romano lying and saying she'd rewrite the article and release the original interviews, but nothing ever happened.
Andrew wasn't doing literally anything relevant at that point and hadn't in years, so there was no real reason for Aja to go through all that trouble besides personal interest. Given her history of covering things like that, as well as the article on Rose Christo, and having published an article about a bunch of different posts from Fandom_Wank--a site kind of like this, but mostly focused on fandom related stuff--I would bet anything she's already a member here.
Hi, Aja. I hope you've figured out how to light things on fire by now.
TFW you get people salty that their tweets were overlooked while we were used as a source.>tfw journalists regard the bigoted, transphobic Kiwi Farms as a better source than your Twitter meltdowns

It's probably higher on account of how many you can piss off simply by being a member of the Farms. My kill count is still zero. Come on Nora, let me have one.
Tfw when you’re terrible monsters, but still right.
