RB is really the only way to play imo. Sim has sucked in WT for a number of years and I never found AB fun. I come from a flight sim background though. Fuck, I remember when RB was calling Historical Battles.

Only acceptable AB mode is naval.

Seen this growling sidewinder dude doing IL2 VR content?

Well they just added a new US tank for WW2....dammit. Back in I go. Yet another Pershing variant which I shall grind using the other variants lol.

Yeah, that always sucks. As for the tank itself, god what a heavy slow bitch at stock. But it's an absolute bully. I'm sure some of it is new tank syndrome, and everyone shoots at it like a normal pershing. 153mm of front armor bounces tons of shit.

You just know its gonna get nerfed after Wehraboo screeching about it being unpennable by Panthers... a full 0.6 below it at 5.7.

Yeah I can see it happening. Terrorized plenty of panthers last night by inserting M82 nukes through their mantlet. Funny enough, was only reliably killed from the front by other pershings hitting the lower glacis and blowing up the floor ammo that is standard in late war US tanks. Almost like US tank players are generally better and don't rely on center mass auto pens.

I wish we had a thread for enlisted. I am loving that wayyyy more then war thunder these days.

Just wait till Gaijin inevitably fucks the progression up. I'm not playing War Thunder until the economic earning of SL and RP are increased.

Have they fixed dying to arty call ins before you are finished spawning? That killed enlisted for me.
Hasn’t been a problem so far, but I’m playing on the recently released ps4 version. Most fun I’ve had in a long while.

Just remember the four words to drive any Wehraboo into a frothing rage: "Have you tried flanking?" Be sure to remind them they have no business trying to take on a 6.3 heavy tank from the front in a 5.7 medium.

Another good method to get them mouth foming is to tell them that in real life the King Tiger and the Panther (the early version, the later one didn have it so much but still was not nearly as reliable as the Panzer IV) were the most unrealiable tanks Germany had to offer. Also go tell them that 90% of all King Tigers weren't destroyed by combat action but by technical breakdowns and lack of fuel supplies which forced the crew to blow them up.
All those tears of impotent rage, so crisp, so refreshing.

Wehraboos are literally the epitome of stupidity and critiqueless fanboyism, most of them if not all have no clue or knowledge about German Wehrmacht equipment past "Girls und Panzer" or some dubious websites. If somebody claims the 109K-4 could take on a well flown P-51 in the last stages on the war, he surely is an imbecile. Same goes for their dumbass sperging about the Tiger, Tiger II, Panther and the Type XXI U-Boat.
And I says that as a German.

"But muh MW-50!" Yeah, guess you need that when you can't make 150 octane or reliable high hp motors.

The use of MW-50, MW-30, EW50, EW30 has nothing to do with lack of reliabilty it's just the German version of an short time engine power boost.
Several methods were used in WW2 and beyond to boost engine power by manufacturers: water injection, methanol-water injection, some simply opened the throttle wider as usual allowing more air to flow through the air-intake into the supercharger.
Modern intercooler systems follow the same chain of thought.
Another system used by the Luftwaffe was GM-1 or in plain English nitrous-oxide injection.
Use of MW-50 was regulated by Luftwaffe technical orders for not more than 10 minutes (IIRC) at all per engine, pilots had to log the use of MW-50 and if you reached the 10 minutes the engine had to be replaced for an complete overhaul.
The BMW 801 radial engines of the FW 190 had (on some variants) the possibility to inject fuel into the supercharger in place of the MW-50 which was called Erhöhte Notleistung (Increased Emergency Power or IEP).

The most frustrating thing about playing german(ground forces) is the skill of your fellow teammates. I play a mix of US/Germ/Swed and the amount of retardation I have seen from germ players is mind boggling. They either just go full retard push or try and snipe from spawn. Every fucking time.

That's exactly the reason why I stay away from games like WT, WoT or WoWS. I do not even play multiplayer in Rise of Flight or IL-2: Battle of whatever anymore, it's just too much stupidity all around. I'm sick an tired of multiplayer games who are basically 99% braindead dumbfucks and 1% decent players.

This is why I always try to play with people I know. I have seen some truly exceptional pubbies over the years in WT, RoF, IL-2, and even DCS.

Used to be in a Falcon BMS group with a guy that could only do ramp starts.

Is it possible to learn this power?
Not from the Wehrmacht.

Nice video, Albeit it mentioned the problems with the gearbox, the way to heavy overall weight and the way to less engine power there's so much more wrong with this tank I could write an essay about it.
If you built a tank that's so wide it doesn't fit the loading gauge of the railway cars anymore and has to change it's tracks and remove its side skirts to get on the railway cars and then still can't be transported thru the tunnels on the Western Front in 1944 because the tunnels weren't big enough, you have failed miserably as tank designer. I'm not even starting with what a ridiciulous gas guzzler that tank was.
