The quest was alright. It's about the same length as Jade Shadows and again has you playing as Stalker. The boss fight in the first mission is annoying but that's mostly to do with Stalker's loadout being shit. I physically soifaced when he recruits Umbra to babysit for him. Nice theme of fatherhood to go along with the theme of motherhood in Jade Shadows, though the emotional beats aren't nearly as strong. It's pretty clear this was all just an excuse to write Hunhow out of the story for when we actually go back to Tau for realzies this time. The post-quest Railjack missions are serviceable but currently bugged to hell and won't even let you extract, but you still get some mission rewards (including blueprints) so it's not totally fubar at the moment. Also Orion is JEETED. Siriuschads stay winning.
 
I know we all joked about how Hunhow was the grandfather, but I didn't expect for him to literally get dementia. :story:

Yeah, tried the post-quest mission and wasn't able to extract either time. Still got blueprints and arcanes, thankfully.
 
I was beyond tired when I got home so I had to lie down, a little bummed out I won't be able to play till tomorrow but eh shit is always bugged so I may actually avoid a potential headache

I was pleasantly surprised to know that both missions can drop Syrup & Onion's parts (blame the wiki comments, that joke was pretty good). The only mission-exclusive rewards are the heavy scythe components. You can also buy the warframe components with either red or green coins too.
 
For those who don't know, the Relic at the bottom of the shop actually grants War Prime.

Tried to run a public match for the new mission. Instant got a group of fucking retards staring at their feet. Never again.

If you want to avoid the same spearchucker build that 99% of Styanax haven't moved on from, I've had a decent amount of success with this build:

Only took a few missions to get all of Sirius and Orion's bits, happy about that. But the loaners are just ass. There really needs to be a "let me just use my Railjack" option.

There is, but it's super fucking janky and very tedious since you have to do this shit every time you wanna run a mission. You might have to enter and leave the relay a few times for it to finally pop up, but the option is there. That said, when I tried it, my main Engineer didn't put out the fire that was on board and went into bleedout despite being able to wipe out entire waves with his Zarr when On Call. People are also saying you might have to do it once with the loaner, but I don't know. Hopefully, DE streamlines the fuck out of it because having to spawn into a relay, go into the dry dock, interact with the console, then finally choose the mission is just too much bullshit to be worth doing after getting Sage & Oregeno.

I haven't really been able to play these past few weeks, but I'm pretty excited to check him out again when I get the chance. His helminth ability is also way more enticing as a grouping tool now that you don't need the augment to recast it.
 
Looks like the hotfix is causing issues with using your personal Railjack in the Uranus Proxima missions where the Railjack is yours but the loadout isn't.

Tbf, reb is a rare case of a community manager actually giving a fuck about the community. So I give her a lot of leeway when it comes to retarded decisions.
I've noticed the storyquests have actually gotten a lot better ever since she was put at the helm (the difference between natah, second dream, and sacrifice to Whispers In The Wells, The Hex, And Old Peace is miles apart)
So I play nice and give her a bit of grace.
