How would you guys rate the primarchs on a scale of most retarded to least retarded?
Angron is the least retarded. He has a defined goal (kill everyone he can) and a practical way of going about it (apply chain weapon to face). Magnus is the most retarded. His goals are infinitely variable and he never has a realistic way of achieving them.

Who's the midwit primarch, then?

Its not just a mask but a legit death mask made via impression from Sanguinius's barely-cooled corpse, so he was rather understandably pissed off to see them wearing it as if in mockery. And then Dante tells him why they wear it and he has an "Oh shit, I went too far" moment.

Has the Lion run into G-Man yet so he can snark at him over having finally achieved his dreams of being the Emperor's right-hand administrator?

"Tell me Roboute, having finally achieved your ambitions of ruling in our father's name, is any of it worth it? Have your desires for power, no matter how well-intentioned, brought you the satisfaction in life you have craved? Perhaps you should have stayed a simple soldier like I am still am."

"I think you underestimate what a terrible and pernicious foe the bureaucracy is. I'm starting to think our dear brother Horus may have been more correct about them than either of us is happy admitting."

Speaking of Iron Warrior autism...

I love how IW fans actually have the in-universe denial that their guys are somehow different from my perfect tards.

Most Retarded: the gay angel

Least Retarded: The Khan, rose to the occasion, defied expectations and proved himself a good brother, a tricky SOB and genuinely likeable. One of the few Asian characters I consider high T.

I never got why Mortarian fell. Mortals worshiping Nurgle out of fear of death makes sense, but he (and none of the primarchs really) never seemed truly scared.
He was getting absolutely raped in the warp and saw all his sons dying so there was no other choice. Not to mention the resentment he had for BigE killing a tyrant when Mortarian failed. Honestly his character is a bit of a 180 and Guilliman was right to call him a slave in Dark Imperium.

Most Retarded: Perturabo or Magnus. Its mostly Magnus for all the warp nonsense. Repeatedly warned not to get involved, gets in bed with Tzeentch anyway, thinks hes too smart to get tricked, thinks hes smarter than everyone and ultimately fucks everything up. Perturabo gets a shout for joining Horus and thinking this will work. He got the duds, the rejects and the ungovernable (EC). He does so much heavy lifting (as does his legion) but just one moment of primarch post nut clarity would tell him "ive made a huge mistake". The best on the losing side, so he gets a shoutout for being as good as he is and still making retarded decisions.

Least Retarded: Khan or Sanguinius. Former most level headed and reasonable/normal. Absolute boss. Sees through a lot of the bullshit. Latter had his shit together the most and maybe only fucks up at the end. Gets the nomination mostly because of how successful and largely flawless his HH run was.

Most retarded is more likely Lorgar, thought the Emperor was a god, slapped down, found the real "gods", was convinced to infect his sons with daemons for perfect balance, thought he could be the warmaster, smacked down, hiding in the home of his gods and then smacked down again by Corax then sitting locked in his room ever since

What is the easiest way to shade recesses? Covering them in nuln oil and then repainting everything around them takes too much time.

Can't you also thin down shade paint or add medium to make it flow more? I know shades are already super thin but I thinned nuln oil down with some water to help tone down the effect. I was going for an all over shade though, but it did help prevent coffee stains.

Contrast medium? Mix it with nuln oil 50/50?
