GW literally moved heaven in. For something no one wanted, female custodians, I guarantee you those are going to be in the bargain and bin and every GW story, and they're going to just pretend that never happened.
Also the majority of the books that are popular, the most popular ones. Being the Ghost series and the adventures of one funny commissar, all based around the guide, not Space Marines guard units.
they already redesigned the general models to be more feminine, you can ignore the heads but you cant deny that some of the bodies do look a bit odd and probably meant for people to go full womyn, I doubt they will memory hole them soon. some chuds already conceded and will be happy to continue consooming it until they finally go full retard and touch the sacred cow of SMs.
I have a feeling GW takes it out the impotent rage that they cant faggotify the SMs with all the shit they pull off with Stormcasts, considering they even have "they/them" characters that nobody cares about and tons of women with the fag dyke haircuts

I’m going to chimp.

Fucking Cadia gets to be blown to hell and it still produces troops.
As I pointed out before Krieg already exited in easily identifiable form(including rough riders) in the 1999 3e Guard Codex released a year prior. In fact they seem to exist before Steel Legion because I can't find them in the same codex but maybe I just missed them so I'm not 100% on that.
Not that I expect the Warhammer Community interns to know their shit but lmao even GW is perpetuating this false myth that they were just a steel legion paintjob now.

I do apologize for the low res, my PDF is shitty.

This is the same problem that World of Warcraft writers run into. They don't actually read the source material that they're writing for, so they just read the wikis, which are completely inaccurate. They really do need a lor department. Actually, they had one and. They got rid of it. Retards.

I read like 80% of the first Ciaphas Cain. Was not feeling it. Give me ADB Night Lords for comic relief.

Edit what exactly is a glup shitto?
I've read two or three of the Cain novels (the individual plots aren't the main selling point), the humour is obviously heavily influenced by Blackadder.
I wouldn't say I love them, but I like that they exist in what can be a somewhat po-faced setting.

You are almost certainly right on this point. They keep trying to force bland Stormcast characters like the Blacktalons into being fan favourites with novels, animations and even models and unsurprisingly no one, even the target audience, gives a shit.
They do it with guard charactes too, Minka Lesk being a prime example, a character so popular that they aren't even selling her latest miniature.

Edit, also, why is every ship commander a woman? The ring fencing of the Astartes and the consequences of Aaron Dembski-Bowden's faggotry have been a disaster for the Imperial Navy.

You should read Titanicus.
One of my favorites and the first Dan Abnett book I actually paid for instead of yoinking.
I finished printing and started priming this today. I prefer it to the GW model. Its going to take me ages to paint the fat fucker though.
Fuck me, I wouldn't know where to start. Show us progress when you can.

If you can't make marines female you might as well make every character around them female, it's that simple. See also Titus and Huron's cheerleaders.

Opinions on the new painting handle? This thing look flimsy compared to the other painting handles they have released previously. I'm tempted to pick one up to test it against the other two previous small handles they released only a couple years ago now.
From the looks of the picture you simply bend the plastic over the base while the others you opened clamps that used springs underneath for a decent grip.
£4 is decent but you can pick up a small tray of wine Cork for the same price or cheaper as that's what I used to use for batch painting.

There's a lot you can do for a few bucks, or even free that doesn't rely on bending plastic to fit. Old pill bottles with some sand in them, and double sided mounting tape(as long as you don't put smaller bases where the previous ones were, and don't get paint on the sticky part from priming, you can re-use the tape many times) on the top, easy and cheap. A plank of wood cut into squares, rectangles, etc. A paint stirrer stick from the hardware store with a piece of double sided mounting tape on top again. Some people like poster putty(doesn't stick well enough for me when I start holding things at weird angles and even upside down). Stacks of lego, alphabet blocks, corks like you mentioned, all of this stuff would be better or even cheaper without having to bend shit and possibly break because if the new painting handle does break, the mount is too thin to really be usable with tape, putty, or whatever.

You can pick up a. Bunch of molds that are used for concrete. Very small ones. And a bag of. Ready mix concrete. Make sure to wear gloves because concrete contains a lot of Lye. Mordor is also a good choice. To make terrain or little bits. You can also buy small concrete stamping tools.
Look into the people who make. Models that are based off for your construction techniques, so you can find a lot of tools for that. That also worked for making terrain in bits like that.
Also, while you can find sticks and stuff and shape them. If you live near like a construction. Warehouse. You can look in the dumpster. They usually don't care if you take the scraps. Buy some Gray paint and that works pretty well.
Personally I like to use just regular dirt and clear coat or this stuff that's basically dries perfectly clear. That's kinda like a goop. It's a really thin. Polyurethane. You can pick it up at hardware stores for about 8 bucks.

I was searching YouTube for how to make concrete walls for tabletop gaming and learned they sell concrete slabs 1:30 size with metal in it that you can break up and expose the wiring inside to give it an authentic look. I just take styrofoam from packing material, trim it with a knife, and put bent paper clips in

Finished my re-reading of Deathwatch, and I don't get why people complain about "propaganda" for the whole Tau sterilization thing.

The book doesn't shy from showing the Imperium as awful, we see it openly shitting on Ebongrave and Tetrarchus, if that's propaganda, whoever wrote got killed by the Inquisition.

Velk'Han is just a sept on an active warzone with imperial rebels active on it; it being more cruel is to be expected, isn't like the same policies were applied in Vior'la or T'au.

I read the first Ciaphas Cain omnibus a very long time ago and was put off ever since by pretty much reading the same story six times in a row, just swapping out what the antagonist faction (and secret antagonist faction) is. I suspect the series is much more enjoyable reading occasionally instead of in bulk.

This is pretty much it. For whatever reason, BL writers feel compelled to add female characters when they can, which means having to work around Space Marines. Ship captains are important without having to contend with gritty ground combat and the likelihood of being super-murdered. They mainly sit in a chair and don't have to contend with others over authority.

Dude, I was talking about things to use to hold minis to paint. Concrete? That's just unnecessarily heavy. When I said pill bottles and some sand, you only need enough to get them bottom heavy again so they don't tip over as easily.

No one was talking about terrain.
