Opinion discarded
How many pieces of plastic do you have to still shout shit opinions? Iron Warriors are the superior.

I know it looks pretty heretical but this is my Black Templars Redemptor

[user is coward]

I mean if grimaldus is taking shots at all you're kinda having bigger problems. Your supposed to have grimaldus next to like... a crusader squad (or something even more threatening) at all times.
Let it never be said I'm good at this game I spend so much on lol

@Imperial Citizen
Trying to equate the setting of 40k with modern politics is extremely retarded whether it's done by the right, left or Black Library.
First of all the setting itself is vastly different depending on the writer, ranging from dystopia to more edgy modern day. You could have two people read different books and they will have a vastly different idea of how good the Imperium is. So you can't even establish common grounds.
Secondly, it's pointless because the series never gave any alternative to the current status quo. If anything, everytime someone in a book has a good idea to reform the Imperium it immediately backfires. So the setting itself doesn't give any solution and therefore the Imperium is the only solution by virtue of the writers saying it is.
Finally and most importantly it's fiction. So the politics aren't real anyways and the writers can say whatever the fuck they want.

Grimaldus(as a whole unit) is protected by look out sir. So to touch grimaldus you need to chew through whatever he is next to buffing (any core unit from a redmptor to sword bretheran lol)

Or they can charge him, where he will also be most likely be protected by whatever he is buffing.

Bike chaplains are usually reserved for being fighty. Grimaldus takes the role of a support chaplain(commonly terminator chaplains) that helps to make sure some slow death star gets where it needs to go.

Though black templars would love to take 2 chaplains anyway.

Thanks for the tips, what do you use for holding home-field objectives?

I've been using an Infiltrator squad to sit back collecting points, deny deep-strike, take pot-shots and not die immediately; and for that they work but their damage output is abysmal.
Strength4 AP0 1Dam doesn't really cut it against even soft targets and last game they dealt 2 wounds over 3 turns, so I've been thinking of maybe replacing them with Heavy Intercessors.

My objective holders are the last thing I put into a list. I usually just flush them with the remaining points I have. Usually it's assault intercessiors. If I know I'm gonna need something a bit more reliable, I'll make the changes I need for 2 5 mine squads of infiltratiors(more durable) or incursors(not worthless when charged) and maybe cut down on pregame cp usage to abuse smoke.

These Imperium things they have at bookstores are fucking incredible. I just got 10 flayed ones for 30 bucks.

Edit: for anyone that might swing down to Barnes and Noble or something; the ones in rotation seemed to be flayed ones, assault intercessors, and some terrain.

New Squat Lore: https://www.warhammer-community.com...ann-are-coming-but-what-actually-is-a-votann/

Their society is ran by a bunch of hypertech AIs that are slowly crashing because they haven't been rebooted in 10,000 years. That's the "Votann," and the Squat's secret that they must never let the Imperium know, because they'd immediately go to war with them to capture the Votanns (which contain STCs, not sure if complete) and probably kill all the Squats in the process.

Some Star Trek TOS tier plotline but I dig it. Wonder if we're getting Iron Men.

Two new art pieces:

A Votann, presumably.

Looks like Squat Leadership and Honor guard. That definitely looks bigger and bulkier than the Squat boarding trooper we saw in the teaser:

So the Squat equivalent to Terminator armor? It has even more of a Tau appearance than the stuff we've seen so far.

I use Warhammer politics to troll, not dedicate to following it. Well, maybe except killing Slaanesh followers.

Other than the art thread, this is the only thread I wish people would want to share their OC donut steaks. It'd be fun to look at the kitbashing and paints and show off our special snowflake units.
Working on a warboss kitbash from some AoS-adjacent kit of push-fit models:

Have I shared this? Former GW Studio Painter went Indy. He kept all the GW staff painters' notes, though. Criminally undersubbed.
