meh it was only a matter of time

I am not surprised, just disappointed but then GW is based in Cuckistan so expecting them to hold out was frankly stupid. They probably even went so far as to hire some rainbow to give them advice on how to make sure they don't accidentally make any minorities look bad.

I mean people are getting arrested for Tweeting the most inane shit in the UK so female space marines are right around the corner IMHO. Can't let those twinks and gender specials feel bad now can we? Do they even play 40K? Doubtful but they want to get their foot in the door and do the same shit to tabletop they did to PC gaming.

Good thing I only play 2nd ed, fuck GW I haven't bought a single thing from then since 2010.

Why do people demand more female armies when Sisters of Battle exists?
Because they want to ruin any environment they determine to be a "chud safe space." This movement doesn't give a shit about Warhammer. Most of them don't know the nightbringer and the night lords aren't the same thing. It cares about curating social spaces and hobbies to reflect the right side of history. If the hobby dies because of it, they won't give a shit. It's better for something to die than not comply.

Am I the only one who is gonna bet abnett had more of a hand in this then ADB? Yes the latter has been talking about female custodies for years, but iirc he's only written one book about them (master of mankind) and the former has been subtly fucking with custodies lore for years, I will put money on it being a thing valdor cooked up after the hearsay or one of malcadors back up plans.
I honestly don't get it. Why do people demand more female armies when Sisters of Battle exists? Just how much thirst do these daemons people have?
Imo there's no good books/current lore about the sisters that would attract them. I've been avoiding it because of ADB but I have talked to people who hold the night lord trilogy in high regard and is one of the reasons why the bought minis for the faction and it only took two necron books to spark interest in them after ward did what ward did best, also someone correct me if I'm wrong but where the death korps of krieg first introduced in the siege of vrakas campaign or where they established lore before that?
On the other hand a bad book entry can kill intrest in a faction. Looking at you ynnari, they truly lived up to the whole gimmick of eldar killing themselves.

Because it's not about wanting female armies. It's about forcing GW to do things that the existing player base -- who these types hate -- don't want.

It's Ritual Humiliation applied to culture. They want it to happen specifically because you don't want it to happen. They want to force the game to change because you like it the way it is. They want this because they fucking HATE you and barring the ability to put you in Gulags or gun you down in the street, hurting you via culture is the best option they have.

Just finished Galaxy in Flames.

Started The Flight of the Eisenstein and am disappointmented it isn't a direct continuation of what happened with the ship in the previous book. Hopefully this is just going to be setting up Garro and some characters on the Eisenstein rather than a full background story... I think I want to skip those for now.

Speaking of which, I know the next book is Fulgrim which is that character background only stuff I believe, so if there is any guidance on what books are only the important A to B to C events of the Hersey following up from Galaxy in Flames (and HOPEFULLY Eisenstein) let me know.

That leak that was going around a day or two ago said that the Shareholders and US employees were pushing HARD on the UK branch to cuck. Looks like the first crack has occured.

Female Space Marines are a matter of time now.

The only good thing is the 4chan leak suggests they're going to royally fuck up their business model trying to turn 40k into MTG or HeroClix. So this is just the beginning of the end, but it absolutely means there's an end coming.

Unfortunately Flight of the Eisenstein is where HH stops following an easy reading order, I'm about 23 books deep in the series and at least a dozen has had Istvan 3 and 4 either be the opener for a book, happen in the middle, or end on it.

The problem with out right skipping books is that 90% they tie into events from another book, for instance the first assassinorm book is almost completely skippable except one of the minor Luna Wolfs/Sons of Horus captains that has a decent pressions in the first 4 books gets killed in in, so unless you've read it your left scratching your head wondering what happened to him.
So far I have only come across 4 outright skippable books since they don't tie into much
Descent of Angels
Battle for the Abyss
Fallen Angels
The Outcast Dead

The Anthology's are somewhat skippable, some of the shorts are pure fluff others tie into the plot for serval books

Its a gayer end than End Times for sure.

The 4chan leak was the fakest shit ever

Smartest dude in this thread. The 4chan bitching about ADB leaked here for no other reason than “um he said this on Twitter”

Abnett is a viper in the grass all the issues and bad lore from Horus heresy was abnetts work. Abnett also does a lot to utterly destroy lore, ADB unironically understands the idea being 40k being a setting and never revealing stuff.

So much dudes take ADBs views on the blood ravens out of context here it’s insane.

The sisters of battle and silence don't look like bodybuilders with anime girl faces, if you check out any artist who does genderbend you will notice how these guys have a weird specific fetish.

Do you guys think some actual autists will take action in physical stores or even Warhammer world? There needs to be an actual stand here or else it all fails. You can’t just do internet posturing since GW will never listen.
I don't really see the point. The guy behind the counter doesn't have a say, and from what I hear from Hobby Nightmares, GW could give a shit what they think anyways.

I guess that GW sees Disney and Marvel as something to aim for. To appeal to a much larger audience then just the tabletop sphere and become something larger.

They want to make 40K into another huge IP that spans movies, books, toys ect ect and so they need that ESG money and the good will of the Hollywood types that means DIE and everything that comes with it.

I don't really care that much honestly, I stopped giving GW money decades ago after they butchered 5th Ed. But at least back then you could give GW the benefit of the doubt as they were just greedy and stupid but now they're embracing evil to be accepted by the normies which of course will never work in the long run. I mean look at Wizards of the Coast, they forget who their actual customers are and now are selling of their IP's to make ends meet.

Whut bugs me is that if GW shuts down the wokescolds would still see that as a victory as they don't give a single shit about 40K but just want to either rule it or destroy it. Which one they get doesn't matter to them, either works.

Fulgrim fleshes out the EC and their part of Istvaan 3, it’s fun though, I love a good sci-fi expedition that ends in nightmare.

But it already spans multiple books, and multiple toys? Marvel literally raped your brain at this point you won’t leave. I’m sick of the “oh I played then but left” and then you stick your head here to get brownie points for being a grognard.

I hated that they killed Warhammer Fantasy, but I eventually came to like AoS.
I hated when they started getting rid of Old Marines, but I eventually came to like Primaris.
In both cases; however, I would have preferred they never did the thing in the first place, but eventually came to accept it.
I hate this, but I will wait and see what they do with it before passing my final judgement. They might polish this turd, I doubt it, but they might.
An unpopular opinion; I know, but I shall be the Positive Polly. For now.
Female Space Marines are my hard line though, I will drop this IP like a sack-o-bricks if they ever do that.

Edit: Also, I'm a couple of chapters into "The Deacon of Wounds" from the Warhammer Horror series. It's pretty good so far. It's about a Ministorum Priest trying to save his dying planet from a plague. I might do a book report on it when I'm finished.
