I dont think the lore says they cant be females but the way GW introduced them is fucking retarded. The coomers talking about them will be horrible.

I enjoy the copium free basing going on in here. I've seen the same exact copes, the same exact reactions dozens of times since 2012. The same things were said about Trannytech, Magic the Gay, Dungeons and Degenerates, Pozzfinder, Trannies the Mascarade and so on.

Making your own shit is the only way to fight this. Because you may ree, you may boycott and the company might go under, but that doesn't stop them. I remember couple of years ago reading some newer release book about unification and the author was diminishing role of the Emperor in the whole thing and laughing at the idea that he would call some genetic mutants his "sons". Also the Space marines were actually creation of some woman named Astrate(LMAO) and Big E just helped. She because of course she super special smart predicted that space marines would ruin the galaxy and tried to sabotage the project or something. I don't quite recall however I remember being quite unhappy with those revelations. Story should have been left untold.
 
I guess now is the time to get off the ride for Warhammer 40K. The End and the Death is to Warhammer what End Game was to Marvel movies, now everything that follows in its wake will be in the realm of no-shits-given terrible decision making permitted by diminished returns, because now Warhammer has been deemed to have run its course. Using cloak and dagger shit to retcon female Custodes was a retarded move that nobody will admire the writers for making, especially since we have Sisters of Silence as female Custode equivalents anyway.

It's a shame really, Warhammer 40K was the last IP I still had any fondness for. I guess now the only IP refuge of any quality is Middle Earth since nothing outside of Tolkien's words will ever be canon, no matter how hard Amazon tries to shit it up.
 
I started 40k a few months ago and the custodes are my favorite human faction. The introduction of female custodes, although pretty fucking weird and out of left field, doesnt bother me because i can always choose to not put them in my army, i can always choose to not acknowledge them. I get the outrage since the community is very passionate, but saying that youll drop a hobby as a whole for something that it is inconsequential is pretty dumb. If i went with that logic, i wouldnt have any hobbies. Not trying to start shit or saying that people are invalid in their feelings. Also Sisters of Silence are the true "honorary" custodes in my book.

After the better part of a decade of my refusing to acknowledge even Primaris Marines, this is also hardly a new step. Disregarding bad fluff used to be a core part of the 40k experience.

I'd love to see those things get more praise and attention than what the copyright holders are putting out.

Yeah this is what the even remotely negative takes look like from people that actually play. You can really tell the difference between performatively outraged non community members and real 40k hobbyists.

I'd like to imagine 40k having its own version of the endtimes, if the piss poor changes to the lore leave wargame stagnant for years.
Sales dropping so hard, the company is forced to quickly kill off the entire universe in a series of awful books.
Only to spit out a new one, with its horrible 4 pages worth of rules. Most of factions are either merged into barely playable soup or squatted entirely in favor of new hotness with intentionally overpowered abilities.
Model count required for play is reduced significantly, while prices for the kits aren't.
A vision that's very unlikely, considering 40k is still GW's cash cow, but it'd be so fucking funny if it happened. There'd probably be a bigger hole in the ozone layer from all the angry fans burning their books and minis.

Precisely. The best thing people can do in this situation is just point at it, laugh and just carry on with their lives while purposefully ignoring all the woke shit they try to ram into everyone's throats. It will make you happy and make trannies seethe (and dilate).

I do like WH40k, and I won't let some fag authors ruin it with pronoun orks and tranny eldars and future tranny Emperor and whatever the fuck. Literally fuck this shit. Not my canon.

And I have friends that have been into 40k for over a decade that are gonna quit quietly(no more money to GW, instead going to recasters). To be fair it's not just because of female custodes it's because the newest edition has dogshit rules and every time I hear them talk about the game they complain about the newest Donut Steel OC character/unit that's OP and given to an OP faction. I gave up when the Dwavers were added and were so overpowered everyone with a brain refused to play against them. I knew then that GW was fucked in the head and treating the game like Free to Play vidya companies do. Going woke is the next step after quality degradation.
