What they think Slaanesh is: Endless sex, pleasure and individual expression.
What Slaanesh really is: A man raising his daughter like the perfect father to enjoy the pleasures of parenthood, them raping her to death and turning her into a meat pie for the lulz.
More like a man raising his daughter like the perfect father to enjoy the pleasures of parenthood, only to trap her in a near-eternity of getting raped to the point where she begins to find pleasure in it, and once she's released from it, she has all her kids raped into submission until they begin to like it too. Then her kids do it to their kids, and so on, and the cult of rape and pleasure spreads throughout the stars.

In essence, the Hellenic pagans, complete with sodomy/rape being a rite of passage into adulthood, and their idea of gods are sexually attractive and physically perfect versions of humans.

Women also tend to prefer cooperative games than competitive. Which is why they’re a sizable minority in RPGs but only really paint and build minis in Warhammer. And if they do play it’s usually narrative, campaigns, and/or casually.
Which is weird. The world of women, especially former schoolgirls and women in social gatherings, is very competitive. It starts in school but sticks with them as they grow up, and you can see it with the way they boast about their kids. ''My son goes to Harvard.'' ''My son is a doctor.'' Shit like that. You can feel the competitive intentions hidden behind their silky words, and when they find out their neighbor's husband or kids are better than theirs, they get bitter and angry.

Exactly. Slaaneshi cultists are just as much power-crazed as the Khorne cultists, they just have an increased desire for pleasure and seduction.
To get into the (autistic) debate. Chaos was always Darwinian "might makes right". It's an alternative to the imperium in that you have a chance to make it to the top if you have the right background and genetics, as opposed to being a slave due to your family line.

Slannesh is about killing your enemy in a humiliating way through sheer mastery of arms. Nurgle is being host to the worst disease. Tzeentch is having the best INT build.

How do you translate this to an tabletop game? Outside of them having an pissing contest about someone else's set of Hellblasters.

Seeing as Rogue trader has made me get interested again 40k (have period where I don’t consume any 40k media) I need tips on new imperial guard novels.
I have not read the latest Cain novel yet (on the list) but any tips is appreciated.
I also want to read the space cops books.

Women would be more interested in 40k if it had more attractive men like Cavill.

Sisters of Battle are fine for self inserts, but shirtless marines and all that would rake in girl nerd money way more than girlboss marines. Lets face it, most women are straigh and they like fit handsome men. I know, shocking. Utterly shocking.

Girlboss marines is 100% to closested muscle mommy coomers and trannies.

Exactly that. One girl will say ''I have a set of Primaris Hellblasters.'' The next one will say ''I have a unit of Custodes with Adrathic Weapons.'' Then the third will say ''I have Primarchs Guilliman and Lion'El Johnson.'' Instead of competing game-wise, they will compete over who has what.

That would be genius to market to, all things considered. Jack up the price tags for the most high-value units, and make their stats be overblown and OP, and the girls will be competing for which one has what.

Twilight showed that you can market a product to horny females by having shirtless men all over it.

Shirtless male Custodes figures will get more women into 40K than any Sisters of Battle or female Marines and Custodes ever would.

Exactly. Behind that thin shell of virtue hides the ugly truth that they're just as horny as the hentai addicts are.

Why is YouTube putting troons in my algorithm talking about custodes? They should know I block those channels on sight by now.
Because it's a hot-button topic right now.

Not just that. Hentai addicts had already had their nun girls fetish fuel and bdsm eldar. This is definately a tranny specific demand. They want the big tits and the roids both. This is all about trannies and their utter need to be the spotlight hogging hogs they are.

Gotta be careful with that, the guardsman might also be into CBT.

When the Sharpe's Rifles series were airing, a lot of the audience were women swooning over the handsome fellows.

Gaunts Ghosts are basically Sharpe in space and would be a huge crossover hit with just a little beefy cheesecake and wise writing.

The few depictions of women in Slaanesh cults/stories really go through the wringer

The musician chick existed solely to make “instruments” for Slaanesh’s true chosen, that poor artist girl had her insecurities amplified, the EC turned that guy’s mother into a mirror, the ones from Lord of Excess suffer incredibly, Sabbathiel was gang-tortured for days, the female cultist from the Lucius book had her spinal fluid harvested and the chick from House Devine did not die well.

The big exception is the (many) Mary sues from Fabius’s trilogy.

Slaanesh exposits the same “strong exist to rule over the week” mindset that Khorne followers go by. It’s the same with Nurgle/Tzeentch being similar rivals

There's also one notable Chaos Sister of Battle, Miriael Sabathiel. She was captured by demon prince of Slaanesh and repeatedly tortured until she eventually broke and chose to become a servant. I think she's only been part of like one short story, but actually survived the ending.

So the CEO of GW apparently just resigned (Edit: This might be the CFO not CEO, can't confirm but heard it on two streams now.)

And the CFO just sold most of their shares

Get woke, go broke?
Which CEO? Those guys resign and switch like clockwork. Sounds like maybe the CFO?

The CFO, who is also the one who just sold a bunch of shares, announced she was stepping down months ago, but is expected to be around until the end of the year.

For those curious apparently she sold 2/3 of her stock, although whether or not it's a panic sell from Femstodes I personally doubt, probably more related to them leaving anyway

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm reasonably confident that the only people to have held the CEO spot since at least the turn of the millennium - I don't recall exactly when Kirby got the title - have been Kirby and Rountree and that Rountree is still in place.

I think she may have just been some old accountant lady going retirement, and not Kathleen Kennedy 2.0 getting axed.

He’s why I collect orcs and (orks in 40K). The kvetching of some of the chaos players and just how funny the orcs were roped me in.
The Orks in the first Dawn of War have some of the funniest voice lines in that game. They're great.
"Pull da pin, throw da uvver part!"

Elim Rawne is described at the opening of one of the books as so darkly handsome as to charm the drawers off a Sororitas.

He's also soon after mentioned to be a man of strong convictions, and that they were expunged from his record upon joining the Guard. He's absolute schlick bait. Didn't women go wetter than Niagara Falls at Negan from Walking Dead due to him being a handsome, charming psychopath, or am I misremembering?

Plus for the outright hybristophiles you've got Lijah Fething Cuu, and around the same time when he shows up there's the Vervunhive ladies, including girlboss Tona Criid. (She actually isn't in the slightest but we know they'd write her that way.)

She worked there for 27 years, that's just retiring. It's 7,500 shares out of 32.9 million shares on the market, while retaining 3600 shares.

Trying to attribute this to femstodes is meaningless.
