Found an old metal + plastic exorcist tank kit in a citadel white box for $35 at an LGS that has tons of old stuff from prior to 2008. Had to hunt down the instructions online to be sure because I haven’t built one in years. With the escalation league going to 2,000 I’m excited to add another one to the roster.

What a fucking asshole.

Ruins his own life, uses his kids in his video as a plea for money, tries to use his past bullshit as an excuse for why people should just give him free money. Has the audacity to use the model he claims was from his "dark time" that he fucking caused himself, as some extra plea for money. Just because he doesn't want to fucking move again? Maybe he should have I don't know... not ruined his life and found a way to monetize his channel content 3 years ago and he could be in a better situation by now with almost 400k subscribers.

And to top it off, it still looks like shit.

The thing is, by all accounts, Midwinter Minis is a successful YouTube channel. Guy has, in the past, bragged that it's one of the most popular channels in the hobby and that his videos are some of the most viewed Warhammer content on YouTube.

Through Patreon alone, Guy is making considerably more than I would hazard to guess most of the people that watch his videos are. He's able to buy expensive old Warhammer miniatures and high quality professional recording equipment, travel all around the country for convention appearances and other Warhammer-related jollies, as well as employ several staff members to help with his videos, including the woman he was apparently shagging behind his wife's back. I'm genuinely baffled as to why he's still renting at all - he would probably be able to get a mortgage on somewhere.

Plus, while I don't know how the UK handles divorces it's entirely possible he's paying alimony/child support, or some other equivalent.

There's a lot of youtube people like this. They blow their income in an attempt to keep generating content, and it ends up becoming a net nothing even though the effort increases. He doesn't actually have that many paid patreon subs, and the bottom tier most of them are likely at is only $2. That idiot Jim Sterling has been found to be bitching about paying rent still, and he was making over $10k a month for years(now it's down to 8 or 9k?) and only produces 1 shitty video a week with next to no production value.
 
Miniac is Obnoxious but he's the sort of AVGN/Nostalgia Critic obnoxious, Guy is a fucking obnoxious fake wholesome degenerate that gets subs because of his tutorials or because people are too lazy to unsubscribe.

This guy looks like the epitome of first-world problems. I mean, come on, with all the money he's making, he could've probably bought or rented out a place with better prices.
