If anytime called for that overused "By the emperor" meme it would be for this thread for the last few pages. In more positive news, my girlfriend and I coaxed our friends over drinks to paint a mini each and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
 
The funny thing is, the British still use the Imperial system but only for peoples' heights. Chances are, the retarded britbongs who first gave the 2 meter height reference also didn't fully comprehend how short 2 meters actually is.

I’m working on getting a couple I’m friends with to take the dip into Kill Team.
I’m never gonna get a big 40k group but they’re close to folding on Eldar for the woman and Space Wolves for the man, tale as old as time. A Salamander, a Death Guard, a Wolf and an Aeldari Corsair, that’s looking to be my mainstay opponents for the time being.

I find a smaller group is better anyway, I find it leads to friendlier and more relaxing games in general. At least in HH. Maybe there is something about 40k rules that brings out the worst in people lol.

I learned how fun painting minis was from another game.

I'm very tempted to get some 40k models to paint up as some of MY GUYS™️

Honestly might look for some older models to do some Firstborn. I'm not as anti-Primaris as some, but I 100% agree how they handled was shit and they did kill my interest in the setting for a long while.

Honestly, finding out the Lion woke up and chose to not be a dipshit brought me back in (My guys are a Dark Angels successor because Knightly shit lol)

I think your options for first born is getting dry my friend. (Unless you go to ebay). Maybe some devastators would fit your dudes?

Gonna try to keep my searches to low ends. I only want a squad or so of marines to try some painting.

I'll get some of the newer models eventually as I'm in no rush and my friend who is talking about getting into Killteam lives a decent drive away. (There is a solid Killteam scene around me right now as well)
 
Bruh I cannot believe they havent put out mk7 oldmarines yet in HH. If they basically just upscaled firstborn in HH it would be a huge crossover hit from HH to 40k. Its not like they havent upscaled firstborn anyway. The Heroes series 2(I think) set are firstborn and they look genuinely great.

I just really want that grill helmet and no knee guards plz.
