Refusing to play because a store has some tranny flags in the window is ignoring it and allowing the community to become trash sounds like the dick-eating to me. Nah, it's not even that at this point. It's a small handful of people who are getting cucked out of their hobbies by refusing to play with every excuse possible including the culture war shit that they're apparently so afraid of, may as well claim the left beat them until they find another excuse to avoid participating. Hell, if they said they simply didn't have any active players around and just played on TTS or something that could make sense, but then they'll complain about having to find opponents for a game in TTS. Could also be that their local store doesn't have the space because they want to dedicated more room to being a TCG shop, and there are some shops like this but they wouldn't know that because they refuse to go.

Instead you're left wondering if they ever had wargaming as a hobby in the first place.

Who said anything about abandoning? Refusing to play with malfunctions doesn’t mean you’re “giving up territory” it just means you have standards. I’ve got the same six, smelly bastards I’ve had for five years.

Well that wasn't so fucking hard then, was it? I never said you had to play with the trannies and faggots. In fact I said to just ignore the trannies and faggots if they're around.

But when someone just repeats excuses for years to not play due to the possibility of a tranny being in the vicinity? Yeah, that's taking tranny dick and being booted from your own hobby.

I care about when tourists and secondaries trying to claim "how shit is" are just blatantly lying to people because they don't actually play and maybe never have. They're the same as all of the retarded grifters on youtube pretending to give a shit about 40k when they never mentioned it in their lifetime outside of some sort of nonsense about "muh culture war". At the same time, these people also likely never paint or do anything from the hobby side, so any of their input about painting, terrain, etc. is also fucking worthless. And I'm pretty sure that we can agree the people who listen to shitty lore summaries on youtube and then want to act as if they're lore experts when they've never picked up a book and read it(or even an audiobook and listened to it) are also a waste of space.

Letting these people pretend they're sticking it to the man or whatever the fuck on a forum isn't helping anything, especially when it's just people who pretend they're interested in the shit claiming they're afraid of trannies. As I've said, I don't let trannies dictate my hobbies, anyone who does so is pathetic. If more people didn't allow this shit to happen, you'd probably see less trannies and other deviants open about their shit in gaming spaces in the first place. At best it's apathy that has allowed the LGHDTV shit to infect gaming spaces and fester, at worst these people are simply liars from the get go.

Privateer press had been around for over a decade at that point, originally making D&D campaigns based on their own setting. So they had a setting, understood world building, then pivoted to miniatures a couple of years after that, and built themselves up a fanbase and everything. They even had the benefit of people being fed up with 6-7th edition 40k. And once they were successful, shot themselves in the foot, pissed off 80% of their fanbase with mk3, mismanagement of the company, and so on. It's been posted repeatedly before, no need to bother with a bunch of detail.
