Yeah that's why I wouldn't normally bother with acrylics for that. They just don't flow as well as thinner enamels, lacquers, or even oil paint. Flow improver can only do so much as a surfactant but you're also fighting it drying as it starts to thin. Retarder can help but water based paint just isn't great for trying to rely on capillary action for lining.Will look into the brands when i get the chance, hopefully one suits what I want to do which seems simple but trying to panel line with a brush takes forever. Even when you put a bunch of flow improver in with the ink to get it to really move along the panels.
Edit: now I'm curious what ink you've got that you're that set on for lining?
