The concern I have with the pose is that it might be a bit limiting on blade length. The only thing really "asian" about it is the wrap but... that could be anything for a character like a gifted wrap from a white scar, some relic, etc. Personally I think the handle length makes a bit more sense for an axe but there are definitely European swords with long ass handles, some zweihanders and montante swords come to mind.

I guess Malcador is written fairly consistently in my experience, but weirdly it seems like there isn't a whole lot to his character if that makes sense? Especially during the siege of terra the only interesting stuff he does is chat with magnus, and then dread what he sees while he's on the throne and that's about it. It's a lot of generic master of this, schemer of that, plotter of things, and so on.

You can argue that Vect killed off the dynasties of people brought about Slaanesh, but for the most part the Dark Eldar are spinning their wheels. I actually would like them to actually use Commorragh as an actual setting more. Feel like you could do a lot with the disparity. They are effectively the Skaven of the setting with the whole city underneath the setting with tunnels everywhere and magic science. Constantly back stabbing each other for nothing.

Surprisingly, iirc, Dark Eldar fans were the most normal people when people did that reddit study years ago. Tau were communist fags and Indians, iirc. Dark Eldar were I wanna say cops and the only ones who weren’t subbed to like 3 porn subreddits. Space Marines have a bunch of fags. Eldar are weebs.

Humanity are the good guys of the setting solely because the Emperor. Are they morally good? No, but objectively they are the only reason why everyone else isn’t getting gang raped by the Chaos Gods.

From my personal experience, all Imperial Guard fans are either engineers or Ex military. Most people who are currently in the military used to be a military. Take one look at the Imperial Guard and be like, yes, that is literally me.
 
Or the secret third option which is they want to play bolt action or any other of the WW2 wargames but nobody else plays them.

Also to the other point, humanity is both the reason why the galaxy isn’t getting slaneesh raped and khorne skullfucked but also paradoxically the reason it is. The suffering the imperium produces is like chaos crack cocaine.

My point being that the only ones who somehow haven’t been Great Filtered by chaos are humanity. Big E is the only force really challenging chaos and the current writers for the settings have big father complexes. If only the Eldar hadn’t fucked up like 5 times…

The Tau are blueberry retards, who don’t meaningfully interact with the setting (muh pheromones is kinda canon, which is even more retarded for the Tyranids). The Craftworld Eldar are too fractured to do anything, I like the Ynnari as a unifying goal for them. Dark Eldar are too busy cowardly awaiting the end in Commoragh. Necrons are like elves, but some of them like humanity like the flayer cults and Trazyn.

The voice/chapter head pack for SM2, that boasts "over 400 lines!" or some such, doesn't cover the objective based dialog during operations, apparently. So your Space Wolf will suddenly revert to the classes vanilla voice when speaking mission specific lines lol. There goes your immersion. And it's not a bug, Saber's PR people on discord said it's intentional supposedly.

The original Bonding Stud pauldron you got for prestige 1 was relocked since the Techmarine was added. Saber is claiming this was intentional as well, but if so its absurdly retarded to take something away from players and force them to grind the brand new class to max and then prestige 1 just go get something they'd already unlocked. Sounds to me like it was a fuck up and instead of admitting it they're trying to say it was purposeful.

Techmarine has the least amount of customization with only 4-5 armor sets. He can't even use the Deathwatch shoulder, let alone any of the dlc cosmetics. Most he gets are the helmets. Seems not much was actually changed from the PTS, so he's still lackluster in terms of gameplay. People are also saying he hardly speaks compared to the other classes. Seems like maybe the class was rushed despite being worked on for like a year and a half.

They only added 4 more color pattern slots to the customization suite, instead of more armor set slots, for some baffling reason. And they also apparently fucked the coloring system again for the champion pauldron trims. The Imperial Fist Champion pauldron, for example, can now change its trim color. But doing so changes the trim, the "Imperial Fist" inscription on it, and the Fist emblem itself all together. I can only assume there's other issues with the non Champion pieces that people less autistic than me about dress up haven't seen yet. I'm sure I'll sperg more once I'm able to play it myself.

They arbitrarily changed the Space Sharks emblem too. It's now a more stylized/cartoony version. Didn't add a new one, just replaced the better more simple one for no reason.

I've seen hardly any talk about the new mission, being able to make your own strategem missions or anything else. Just "hey look, Saber borked something again". Which has been a consistent theme of every patch for like the last 6 months or more.
Tldr: more of the same. Amazing if you're a casual/normie, frustrating if you arent.
