I'm not saying any of those people contributed anything for anybody, but it is evidence for the principle that complaining very obnoxiously about a shitty lore change has worked in the past.
 
It depends most primaris lore is either ignored by this point in general and everyone are still just regular marines it’s just the initial introduction still leaves people sour. They are just upscaled marines with new gear at the end of the day.

Also according to valrak the scourging will include a new mk. 7 kit and let’s see how much people break their anti GW stance with that.

I don’t know if it was changed due to outcry but the backtracking of mutations was again a plot point that went no where like most lore introduced around that time. Like do redemptors even kill pilots? A majority of marine characters we follow are either new marines made into primaris, or old ones who crossed, and we rarely ever follow the numbered sons plot lines anymore.

Most grifters, grogs, chuds are and will stay anti primaris they will always look at it as when 40k changed so backtracking due to outcry is questionable. We will never know for certain but even Redditors hate primaris look at the reaction to the new van guard vet.

I just think the imperial fanbase is treated with kid gloves while xeno fans are given changes and told to suck eggs.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of the Catachan? Cadians are more the professional soldier motif, Catachan are 80s Sylvester Stalone tropes.

Hope you like Cadia, Krieg and Catachan, cuz bruddah, that's about all you're getting when it comes to official Guardsmen sculpts. If you want anything else, gotta hit up proxies.
I reccomend this guy, personally.

Part of me is glad that the hobby is bigger and that its not secluded to (totally) dingy comic book stores, on the other hand - I hate fucking sigmarxist faggots and the cuckening shitting up the hobby. 20 years ago some dude posted his femstartes army to dakkadakka or some shit and it was woah wow neat look at the lore, now its a bunch of queers demanding it. 2nd place to dysgenic freaks shitting up youtube shorts with epic facts read straight from a wiki.

"This guy" is Victoria Lamb, one of the OG white dwarf winners and a pioneer in OSL before airbrushing was a thing. She also came up with that samurai space marine chapter.

I also highly recommend her stuff

So are femstodes just to placate the 'why can't my space monks be girls' crowd or is it because the Sisters of Silence are DOA?

I always had the impression the sisters of battle had their niche for babes in power armor (and the militant nun vibe was kinda rad), but it seems nobody cares for the claymore carrying psychic blank nuns.

Which would be the perfect outcome if not for the fact that it's not feminists pushing for femstodes, it's coomers. Which infuriates me, as I've always found the SoS and Soriatas way more interesting than the Astartes and the yellow boys. But I'm just a white het male, what do I know? Even being a liberal don't let me into THAT club...
