One of my favorite things about IG is the very diverse lists you can create with them. Been wanting to try a list of Vendettas/ Valkyries with Catachans just so I can play "Ride of the Valkyries" and pretend I'm re-enacting Apocalypse Now.
Is Spikey Bits buying views? Their current video only has 770 views after 24 hours but their video from four days ago has 5100. Also, only 115 liked that one while the 770 view video has 32 likes. I get that video from four days ago is an unboxing video but only 13 people commented on it. I get that he deletes comments but he should have more than that shouldn't he?
Oh never mind, looked things up. That massive 251,188 view drop was Youtube removing fake views. It happened to other accounts.
I was looking into that with some fellow 40k fans. It doesn't look too bad, with the character tier system (for handling power levels) and the mechanics (similar to Shadowrun 4th and onward, with the roll x number of d6s with 4+ being successes), though I pointed out in amusement that the corebook references the Necrons as an opponent over and over but has no Necron enemies statted out. Oops.
You mean the 9th edition Warhammer Fantasy? I hear its decent if you have other players in your area that play it too. https://www.the-ninth-age.com
They need some help in making their pdfs nicer. I've seen D&D 3.5 books made for Pathfinder that looked better.
Also, Wrath and Glory is done by the same guy who worked on Deathwatch, Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy.
Another SJW article that seems pointless at first and then dives in headfirst into typical bullshit. The gist of this one is that white wargame fans should selectively target minorities for indoctrination Jim Jones style, because minorities aren't capable of deciding what they like on their own. Remember how white male nerds had to corral black folk into theaters so they could enjoy Barbershop?

Local club near me tends to have one black guy and like three First Nations players. I think four of our "white" players are actually Hispanic. Maybe if these people actually went to their local shop they'll see just how diverse it actually is.

More to the point, wargaming is a hobby that requires an outlay of resources; time, money, tools, and workspace. Even if you buy your army fully assembled and painted off eBay. It's no fun to introduce someone to a hobby they can't actually enjoy. I'd sooner get a black kid hooked on D&D and other pencil and paper RPGs; it's cheaper.
Make no mistake, I am ALL about getting new folks into the hobby, but they kinda have to WANT to join.
of the two times iv been in a war-gaming store (live quite far from one) there has generally been a few black or asian people in there, some their to play, others just coming into the shop to see whats in there. and i believe thats how war-gaming stores have always been, they just kinda leave the door open an people will just wander in.
they dont need to jump out and grab every minority the moment they see them, cause if anything that would just kinda ruin it.
What is Warhammer, exactly? I'm interested in it and would like to know where to start but I have no idea if its some sort of board game or do you need a figure for something...
lore wise theres quite a few series of books, with Horus heresy being the biggest i believe , lexicanum also helps with lore. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Main_Page
as for the game itself iv been out of the loop for awhile, but im sure theirs groups on social media that organize often.
also see if theres a games workshop near ya, if there is then guys might be able to help.

Its mostly a war game where you assemble an army of little figures to fight other people's armies. Obviously there are RPGs, video games, books and tons of other shit connected to it, but yeah, if you want to play the game you will need a figure or two.

Put together the Saint Celestine I got for Christmas. Cool kit, but despite having small, womanly hands, I still felt like an ogre fumbling around with some of the pieces.
Watch the video. The editing choice they made is incredible.
