Very optimistic but I'm hoping TTS getting axed causes all the causal garbage and sigmarxist faggot types to bail on 40k.

The fact that self-proclaimed marxists have themselves become absolute uncritical consoomers of the products of a company that is the embodiment of every negative aspect of capitalism is still fucking hilarious to me.

Well when it comes to fan shit online, I have to admit, the Astartes animations and Luetin lore vids are what got me to get into the hobby. I've only recently like a few months ago started buying figures and building up to playable army, going for Drukhari. Though I don't have that much free time, but the painting part is fun, if I never get much time to actually play. But I honeslty don't care much for the other parts of the online fandom, all I hope for is whatever the Astartes guy is putting out for Warhammer+ is worth pirating.

Even as someone who's barely paid attention to the lore I'd fucking love to see Ghazkull take his rightful throne as the resurrected Beast and Vulkan reappears because he'll be damned if the Beast returns. And since this is 40k and its all grimdark, Beast Ghazkull is now a Perpetual thanks to snatching away some of Vulkan's powers when the WAAGGGGHHH reactor exploded.

The hardcore GW fans (whales) are still going to keep buying the minis, and GW is still going to keep making a profit. All of this is internet drama because it won't significantly impact their bottom line as has been shown repeatedly with the many small and not so small controversies over the decades.

But you can't really deny what a big influence TTS has had on the community, I know several people who only know 40K lore through TTS (which is probably not the best place, but lets not get into the "everything is canon but not everything is true" debate here). By shaping the community they shape the feedback and interactions GW have from the community and so GW responds.

I think the trick was that although they were woke spergs they were ideologically in sync woke spergs. Unless you're a drama whore then there's no real reason to have internal fights when everyone agrees with you.

The indefinite hiatus has done some damage alright. But honestly this worries me as shown that many Abdriged Series are seen as damaging to the original author/company's works that they deem any fanwork as hostile. We're living in the snowflake generation where people are too afraid making parodies/jokes and have to take everything so goddamn seriously, no matter how retarded it is.

On top of it all, the news of the guy responsible for Astartes has shown that he is not given free will over his projects at GW and is forced by their monkey paws to do their suggestion, without possible consultation, that is one way to stifle creativity as if this generation was not struggling creative-wise.

The cherry on the top is that, many corporations are following suit and indie works are also affected by shitty behaviour since fostering such will create equally minded shitheads into following said pattern. Nowadays you have companies failing out of hubris (CDPR, Bandai), lazy and greedy bastards that will die on that hill (GeeDubs) and those who refuse innovation and just slowly rot out of their braindead carcass (Paramount, Kadokawa). Media will become vestigial and either the mass public gets brainwashed into watching creatively sterile crap or ditch it entirely.

Plus, for GeeDubs, what about those who cannot play Tabletop Games? I'm pretty sure Tabletop Gaming has been a hobby for rich twats who spend $60 or above for a less-than-average quality made statue, but god forbid you live in an area that sees it as a foreign concept, let alone even have 3D printers for this shit. I've contemplated ordering a few minis but because so little know 40K and other Tabletop its out of the picture for me. This is kinda the final straw I had for 40K, that and 9th Edition having a fuckton of powercreep and boring story progression (and I am sensing a 40K version of Age of Shitmar in a few more editions). I'm now going to laugh at GW for their next step of shitty mistakes biting them in the ass, and if not, the downfall of their IP.

Also, I doubt 40k will go under unless they do an AoS on it. Though it would be hilarious if they did it, than Chinamen got all the money by keeping up the old 40k content lol.

TTS quality kinda went to shit and the break between episodes became ridiculously high, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole "afraid for my family" is just an excuse to kill the series so GW will get the backlash.
Anyways it's funny that the faggots that requested GW to "police their content online" got their wish. Gotta love actual capitalism.

TTS has been shit for a while and the community is a festering asshole of autism and stale jokes.
I have enjoyed 40k more on my own than with other people.

Arch's take? All of GW's latest moves don't require Tabletop. Animation, Toys, Novels, Comic Books, a Subscription Service... hiring a Hasbro executive to handle all of this... while basically leaving the Tabletop to twist on the vine. What's the newest thing they have done for 40k of note? Primaris. Which is designed to be more normie (and 3D designer) friendly.

He thinks GW is trying to cash out of the market before 3D Printing eats their lunch. He thinks they're planning on being out of tabletop, at least nominally, in 10 years or so.
