If I start a Imperial army I'd probably do some kitbashing as well as some minor customization and make some Albanian infantry. I believe Dengar from Star Wars is based off of their soldiers.I wanted to ask if anybody else here is getting Octarius and what they plan on doing with their conversions and/or paint scheme.
I thought it might be cool to make them into an Arditi scheme. There was a cool video also on how to convert them into Valhallan Ice Warriors.

So... it does look like they're pretty damned close to the Citadel colors, only in dropper bottles and probably priced sanely. That's amusing.

>Not simping for Duncan just to help him outThe probably priced sanely is my concern. This is launching through Kickstarter. I'm guessing 80-120 for the 48 colors, 20 for the washes and metallics each as add ons. If I didn't have a paint set it'd be a decent way to get in, but I don't need to get a whole range at this point.
I would recommend taking the time to build up the yellow and straightening up their lines. It will take more time but look a lot better close up.Finished up half-a-pack of hormagaunts, for the most part.
Not sure if I should keep the head yellow as is or add the black speckles for consistency...
Yup, I have a Burning of Prospero box that is full of "Relic Terminator Armor," some Custodes and SoS, and an absolute shitton of Mk3 Armor.I bought one of the old heresy boxes and just painted them as Blood Ravens. Its not like old armour was all destroyed. You can even mix-match helmets and it was slightly less exorbitant than GW's usual prices.
Working on my aggressors again and loving how they look. Gonna fix the shoulder trim on my dude on the left tomorrow

Some people are true believers.I often assume I'm being trolled when people earnestly tell me they bought citadel paints. In this current year, in these age of being swarmed with low-to-high end painting options. Scale75, Kimera, new AK, vallejo, etc.
As these are the easy to build versions i’d say very hard since the wires that connect to the flame gauntlets are in fixed position. I’d say only change the pose if you’re really confident in your abilities to do so.How hard would you say it'd be to modify their poses? I've heard Aggressors were a real bitch for conversion work.
